¾ Drücken Sie das Fußpedal (3) nach unten. Öffnen Sie die
Transportsicherung (10) und ziehen Sie sie langsam aus
der Bohrung des Gerätes. Abb.2

Stecken Sie den Standfuß (9) auf. Sichern Sie mit der
Transportsicherung (10) den Standfuß. Abb.3

Sie können die Arbeits-/Hubhöhe mit Hilfe der Stellschrau-
be (1) beliebig einstellen. Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe
des Spaltkeiles (22). Das Gerät ist einsatzbereit. Abb.4

Um eine sichere Arbeitshaltung einzunehmen, stellen Sie den
Brennholzspalter auf eine ebene und rutschfeste Arbeitsflä-
che.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Arbeitsbereich folgende Bedin-
gungen erfüllt:
− rutschfest
− eben
− frei von Stolpergefahren
− ausreichende Lichtverhältnisse
