Disposal of transport and packing material
AEG Haustechnik is working together with the wholesale trade and skilled fitters/retailers in Germany on setting up an effective return and disposal
system for environmentally-friendly packing material recycling. The transport packing material should be dealt with by the skilled fitters/retailers.
All packing material for marketing purposes (Grüner Punkt – the German Green Point) must be recycled via the DSD system (Duales System
Deutschland – the German Dual System).
All packing materials used are recyclable and environmentally-friendly.
If any plastic materials are used, they are marked as follows:
PE: Polyethylene, e.g. packing foil
PS: Expanded polystyrene, e.g. styropor padding (principally CFC-free)
POM: Polyoxymethylene, e.g. plastic staples
PP: Polypropylene, e.g. clamping band
Cardboard parts are made of recycled paper.
Recycling of used appliances in Germany
Appliances with this marking do not belong in the waste bin, but must be stored separately and disposed of. The disposal of this used
appliance is not regulated by the German act on the commissioning, return and environmentally-friendly disposal of electric and electronic
appliances and cannot be handed over to municipal recycling plants free of charge. The used appliance must be disposed of in the prescribed
manner. Within the framework of the German act on circuit economy and waste disposal (Kreislaufwirtschaft- und Abfallgesetz) and the
associated product liability, AEG Haustechnik has set up a cost-effective return system for the return of used appliances. Ask us or your skilled
fitter/retailer The return system ensures high material recycling rates, thus relieving the pressure on landfill sites and the environment. In this
way we ensure a high degree of environmental protection. When developing new appliances, we always use materials that can be recycled.
The precondition for recycling materials is the recycling symbols and the marking undertaken by us in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11469 and
DIN EN ISO 1043 so that the various plastics can be collected separately.
Waste disposal outside Germany
Appliances with this marking do not belong in the waste bin, but must be collected separately and disposed of.
Used appliances must be disposed of in a proper and professional manner in accordance with local rules and regulations.

Adaptive function
This function enables the thermostat to calculate the switch-on time of the heating system in order to ensure that the required
temperature is reached at the required time. If a required temperature of 24°C is to be reached at 07:00, the thermostat switches on
the heating system at a preset time that is determined by the basic floor or room temperature. If the basic temperature is low, the
heating-up time must be extended as compared to higher basic temperatures.
}
If the factory-set adaptive function is not
required, it can be deactivated. Press the DOWN
button to select position OFF.
Press the OK button to accept the setting.
Important: If the adaptive function is deactivated,
the heating-up time must be set in accordance
