8.1 Acronis Bootable Media Builder
Acronis Disk Director verfügt über eine bootfähige Version, die von einem bootfähigen Medium ohne
Start eines Betriebssystems ausgeführt werden kann.
Ein bootfähiges Medium ist ein physikalisches Medium (CD, DVD, USB-Laufwerk oder andere Medien,
die vom BIOS einer Maschine als Boot-Gerät unterstützt werden), das auf jeder PC-kompatiblen
Maschine startet und es Ihnen ermöglicht, Acronis Disk Director in einer Linux-basierten Umgebung
oder unter Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) auszuführen (also ohne die Hilfe eines
bereits vorhandenen Betriebssystems). Sie können ein bootfähiges Medium durch Verwendung des
Acronis Bootable Media Builder erstellen. Acronis Bootable Media Builder bietet auch die
Möglichkeit, die ISO-Datei einer bootfähigen Disc erst einmal auf einem anderen Laufwerk zu
speichern.
Es gibt Situationen, in denen Sie es möglicherweise bevorzugen, Acronis Disk Director von einem
bootfähigen Medium zu starten. Beispielsweise:
um Acronis Disk Director auf einem 'nicht Windows-basierten'-System wie Linux zu verwenden
wenn Sie Acronis Disk Director eher selten verwenden und daher nicht auf Ihrer Maschine
installieren wollen
um auf Daten zuzugreifen, die in einem beschädigten System 'überlebt' haben
um Volumes vom Typ 'Basis' oder 'Dynamisch' auf fabrikneuen Geräten einzurichten
um Aktionen auf einem Boot-Volume 'offline' durchzuführen, die 'online' wegen
Zugangsbeschränkungen, Sperrung durch laufende Anwendungen oder anderen Gründen nicht
durchgeführt werden können.
Wenn es in Ihrem lokalen Netzwerk einen PXE-Server gibt, kann dessen Administrator die bootfähige
Version von Acronis Disk Director auch auf diesem Server hinterlegen. Dadurch kann jeder Computer,
der das Booten von Netzwerk unterstützt, von diesem PXE-Server aus mit Acronis Disk Director
booten.
Wenn weitere Acronis-Produkte (z.B. Acronis True Image Home) auf Ihrem Computer installiert sind,
können Sie die autonomen Notfallversionen dieser Produkte ebenfalls in dasselbe Boot-Medium
einbinden.
