5.2. Camera uitrichten
De cameramodule kan in 3 assen ingesteld worden.
1: Borgschroef (rotatie)
2: Borgschroef (kantelen)
3: Borgschroef (draaien)
Na het uitrichten van de camera worden zoom en focus ingesteld. Daarvoor zijn aan de onderkant van
de camera passende instelmogelijkheden beschikbaar.
De IR-reikwijdte is sterk afhankelijk van omgevingsfactoren. Als de omgeving in het
gezichtsveld van de camera slecht reflecterend is of als er zich geen object in het maximale
belichtingsbereik bevindt, kan de helderheid van het videobeeld in de nacht te laag zijn. Dit
heeft een slechte bruikbaarheid van het videobeeld tot gevolg.
Bovendien moet bij de installatie van de camera erop worden gelet dat er zich in de directe
omgeving van het gezichtsveld van de camera geen objecten bevinden (bijvoorbeeld dakgoot
of muur). In dat geval kan het IR-licht reflecteren in deze objecten. Dat veroorzaakt
ringvormige overgangen in de tegenovergestelde richting van het object.
5.3. Voeding
LET OP!
Voordat u aan de installatie begint, controleert u of de voedingsspanning en de nominale
spanning van de camera overeenkomen.
De camera's worden gevoed met 12VDC- of 24VAC-voedingsspanning. De polariteit van de
gelijkspanning hoeft niet in acht te worden genomen!
5.4. Videokabel aanbrengen
Om het HD TVI-videosignaal van de camera naar een recorder te sturen, moet een coaxkabel van het
type RG59 of RG6 met BNC-stekker (male, man) op de aansluiting met de opdruk “TVI” worden
aangesloten. De kabellengte tot het volgende apparaat mag niet groter zijn dan 500 meter (RG6) resp.
300 meter (RG59).
Op de analoge video-uitgang (opdruk “CVBS”) kan een coaxkabel van het type RG59 of RG6 worden
aangesloten. De kabellengte tot het volgende apparaat mag niet langer zijn dan 100 meter.
Voor een optimale kwaliteit van de overdracht van het HF TVI-signaal is het nodig dat de
kabel op geen enkel punt geknikt, geklemd of in een te kleine radius wordt gelegd. (min.
buigradius 6 cm).
Als de kabel beschadigd of door het verouderingsproces poreus is geworden, kan dat ook
gevolgen hebben voor de signaal- of beeldkwaliteit (bijvoorbeeld schaduwvorming om
randen).
