IX. ASSISTENZA E REGOLAZIONI ESEGUITE DAL RIVENDITORE
I. SUPPORTI ANTERIORI
Se si ritiene che sia necessario utilizzare supporti anteriori, consultare sempre un operatore
sanitario.
A seconda del loro livello di disabilità o di condizione fisica, alcuni bambini potrebbero
necessitare di supporti anteriori che li aiutino a mantenere una postura o una posizione del
corpo corrette. Questi prodotti includono fasce per la fronte, fasce per le spalle, sistemi di
fasce toraciche, supporti pelvici e cinghie.
AVVERTENZA
Rischi di lesioni in presenza di supporti per il capo e come evitarli.
Un movimento o uno spostamento eccessivo del bacino possono provocare lo spostamento
dei supporti, con conseguenti possibili gravi lesioni per il bambino.
Per evitare questo rischio:
1. È FONDAMENTALE mantenere il bambino in una posizione pelvica stabile.
2. I supporti anteriori vanno usati ESCLUSIVAMENTE con supporti per sedile, schienale
e pelvici o cinture che impediscono al bambino di scivolare dalla carrozzina.
3. I supporti anteriori devono essere installati da un rivenditore autorizzato o
dall’operatore sanitario.
4. Dopo il montaggio, i supporti anteriori devono essere posizionati e regolati
ESCLUSIVAMENTE da personale specializzato.
5. NON lasciare il bambino incustodito quando utilizza supporti anteriori.

Regolazione in larghezza, (A):
1. Determinare la corretta posizione dei supporti per le anche.
2. Rimuovere il cuscino del sedile per poter accedere alle viti di regolazione del supporto
per le anche.
3. Allentare quanto basta le due viti di regolazione di ogni imbottitura delle anche per
consentirne la regolazione.
4. Regolare i supporti per le anche spostandoli nella posizione adeguata.
5. Serrare le viti di regolazione e riposizionare il cuscino sul sedile.
Regolazione in avanti/indietro (B):
1. Determinare la corretta posizione dei supporti per le anche.
2. Rimuovere il cuscino del supporto per le anche per accedere alle viti di regolazione.
3. Allentare quanto basta le due viti di regolazione di ogni imbottitura delle anche per
consentirne la regolazione.
4. Regolare i supporti per le anche spostandoli nella posizione adeguata.
5. Serrare le viti di regolazione e riposizionare la fodera dei supporti per le anche.
NOTA: In caso di ampiezza dell’anca superiore a 254 mm sarà necessario rimuovere le
imbottiture per le anche. Per anche di ampiezza di 280 mm, l’imbottitura di schiuma per
le anche potrà essere agganciata sotto il rivestimento, in corrispondenza del punto di
articolazione posteriore.
