E. REGOLAZIONI DELLA CINTURA PELVICA DI POSIZIONAMENTO:

Regolazione della lunghezza:
1. Eliminare eventuali attorcigliamenti della cintura e lasciarla cadere all’esterno del
sedile.
2. Azionare i freni delle ruote, fare sedere il bambino e chiudere le due estremità della
cintura pelvica di posizionamento.
3. Regolarne la lunghezza fino a raggiungere quella ritenuta appropriata.
4. Il regolatore di lunghezza si trova alla sinistra del bambino (Fig. 26, D).
Regolazione della posizione:
La cintura può essere montata sulla staffa articolata posteriore, oppure sulla staffa
anteriore per le anche (quando necessario).
AVVERTENZA
• Prima di usare la carrozzina verificare che la cintura pelvica sia fissata.
• Controllare la cintura pelvica ogni giorno per verificare che non presenti segni di
usura.
• Assicurarsi sempre che la cintura pelvica sia ben fissata e regolata prima dell'uso.
AVVERTIMENTO
Se la cintura è allentata eccessivamente, l'utente potrebbe scivolare in avanti e
rischiare il soffocamento o lesioni gravi.
Regolare la cintura pelvica per adattarla alle esigenze dell'utente nel modo seguente:

• Azionare i freni delle ruote, fare sedere il bambino e chiudere le due estremità della
cintura pelvica di posizionamento.
• Regolare la posizione della cintura in modo che le due parti della fibbia si trovino al
centro della seduta.
• Far ripassare la cintura attraverso la fibbia maschio e le guide di regolazione.
• Controllare che la cintura non sia arrotolata sulla fibbia maschio.
• Far passare la cintura attraverso le guide di regolazione e la fibbia maschio per
allungare la cintura.
• Quando si allaccia la cintura, controllare lo spazio tra la cintura e l'utente.
• Se la regolazione è corretta, deve essere possibile infilare una mano tra la cintura
e l'utente.
La cintura pelvica deve essere fissata in modo che la cinghia si trovi ad un angolo di
circa 45 gradi attorno alla vita dell'utente.
Se la cintura è regolata correttamente, l'utente deve essere seduto in posizione eretta
il più possibile indietro sulla seduta. La cintura pelvica non deve consentire all'utente di
scivolare dal sedile.
