Innan du använder rullstolen ska du se till att höftbältet inte är utslitet.

Höftbältet måste kontrolleras dagligen

så att det är korrekt justerat, inte sitter i kläm någonstans samt inte uppvisar

onormalt slitage.

Kontrollera alltid att höftbältet är korrekt säkrat och justerat innan du tar det

i bruk. Om bältet är för löst, kan detta medföra att brukaren halkar ned från

rullstolen och riskerar kvävning eller allvarlig skada.

Positioneringsbältet ska sitta monterat på rullstolen så som visas på bilderna.

Det består av två halvor. Bältet sitter fast med hjälp av sitsstödets befintliga

fästskruv, som går genom öglan på bältet. Bältet löper under den bakre delen

av sidopanelen, (1). (Fig. 6.1)

Justera bältet så att spännena befinner sig i mitten av sitsen. (Fig. 6.2).

6.0 Anteria lateralt stöd (Höftbälte)

Justera midjebältet enligt följande för att passa användarens behov:

För att minska bälteslängden

För att öka bälteslängden

Mata tillbaka bältet genom

hanen på fästspännet samt

glidspännena.

Se till att bältet inte är snott vid

hanen på fästspännet.

Du förlänger bältet genom att mata ut

mer bälte genom glidspännena och

genom hanen på fästspännet.

När det är fastsatt kontrollera utrymmet mellan höftbältet och brukare. När

bältet är korrekt justerat ska du nätt och jämnt få plats med ena handflatan.
