Controleer alvorens de rolstoel te gebruiken of de heupgordel is
vastgemaakt.
De heupgordel moet dagelijks
worden gecontroleerd op slijtage. Tevens moet worden gecontroleerd of de
gordel nergens gehinderd wordt.
Controleer voor gebruik altijd of de heupgordel op de juiste wijze is bevestigd
en op maat is gemaakt. Als de gordel te los zit, kan de rolstoelgebruiker naar
beneden glijden en bestaat het gevaar op verstikking of ernstig letsel.
De heupgordel dient aan de rolstoel bevestigd te zijn zoals getoond op de
afbeeldingen. De gordel bestaat uit twee delen. Ze worden bevestigd d.m.v.
de aanwezige schroef, die door het ringetje van de gordel wordt gestoken.
De gordel wordt onder de achterzijde van het zijpaneel geleid, (1). (Fig. 6.1)
Pas de gordel zodanig aan dat de sluiting zich in het midden van de stoel
bevindt. (Fig. 6.2).
Neem contact op met uw erkende Sunrise Medical dealer als u een
heupgordel opnieuw wilt bevestigen.
6.0 Heupgordel (voorste laterale ondersteuning)
De heupgordel wordt als volgt aangepast aan de wensen van de
gebruiker:
Om de lengte van de gordel te
verkleinen:
Om de lengte van de gordel te vergroten
Haal vervolgens het niet-ge-
bruikte deel van de gordel door
de gesp en geleiders.
Controleer of de gordel niet om
de sluiting is gedraaid.
Om de gordel langer te maken, haalt u
het niet-gebruikte deel van de gordel
door de geleiders en gesp.
Controleer na het vastmaken de ruimte tussen de gordel en de gebruiker. Als
men een vlakke hand tussen de gordel en het lichaam van de gebruiker kan
steken (niet meer en niet minder), is de gordel correct aangemeten. (Fig. 6.3).
