Als alle aansluitingen zijn gemaakt, stelt u de con guratie, afmetingen en de volumebalans van de
luidsprekers in om te zorgen voor een optimaal geluidsveld. Dit toestel is uitgerust met een
Yamaha
Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO) functie die de luidsprekerbalans automatisch met een
eenvoudige procedure afstelt.
Als u de YPAO gebruikt, wordt een testtoon uitgezonden vanaf de luidsprekers voor ongeveer 3 minuten om de akoestiek te meten. Let op het volgende bij gebruik
van de
YPAO.
• De testtoon wordt uitgezonden op hoog volume. Gebruik deze functie’s nachts niet als het storend kan zijn voor anderen.
• Zorg ervoor dat de testtoon kleine kinderen niet bang maakt.
YPAO-uitvoeringen kunnen worden bekeken op het display van het voorpaneel of het TV-scherm. TV-scherm wordt gebruikt om de bediening uit te leggen.

Controleer het volgende voordat u YPAO gebruikt.
Dit toestel
• De hoofdtelefoon is verwijderd.
TV
• Dit toestel is goed op de TV aangesloten.
• De stroom staat aan.
• De video-ingang waarnaar de video-uitvoer van
dit toestel is geselecteerd.
Subwoofer
• De stroom staat aan.
• Het volume is ingesteld op ongeveer de helft, en
de cross-over frequentie (indien aanwezig) staat
op het maximum.

Plaats de meegeleverde YPAO-microfoon op oorhoogte in uw luisterpositie.
• Bij het plaatsen van de microfoon raden we aan dat u apparatuur gebruikt waarmee u de hoogte van
een microfoonstandaard (zoals een statief) kunt afstellen. Bij het gebruik van een statief, dient u de
statiefschroeven te gebruiken om de microfoon op de plaats te schroeven.
• Het meten voor meerdere luisterposities is ook beschikbaar. Voor meer informatie, raadpleegt u “De
luidsprekerparameters automatisch instellen (YPAO)” in de Gebruiksaanwijzing.

op de display van het voorpaneel waarna
de display rechts op het TV-scherm

Dit voltooit de voorbereiding. Om nauwkeurigere resultaten te bereiken, dient te letten op het volgende bij het meten van de akoestiek.
• Het duurt ongeveer 3 minuten om nauwkeurig de akoestiek te meten. Houd de ruimte zo stil mogelijk tijdens het meten van de akoestiek.
• Wacht in de hoek van de ruimte tijdens het meten van de akoestiek of verlaat zgeheel om te voorkomen dat u een obstructie wordt tussen de
luidsprekers en de YPAO-microfoon.
