Bij opstellen als basisstation adviseert Yeasu
de FP-30 als netspanningsvoeding, die is
ontworpen om aan de FT 897 vast te maken.

1. schakel de tranceiver uit en maal alle
kabels los.
2. verwijder de 6 schroeven (drie onder,
drie achter) en verwijder de
bodemplaat.
3. verbind de FP30 met de onderkant van
de FT 897, maak het dan vast met 6
schroeven (Fig.3)
4. Verbind de 6 pin Molex connector met
de ,1387 plug op de achterkant van
de FT 897
5. Controleer of de netspanning correct is
ingesteld op de FP30 en dat de
netschakelaar nog op uit staat.
Verbind de AC kabel met ,1387 op
de achterkant van de FP30 en de
netspanning.
*HEUXLN
1. om de tranceiver in te schakelen, zet
de SRZHU op de FP30 eerst aan
voordat de FT 897 wordt
ingeschakeld.
2. Schakel de tranceiver power
schakelaar uit voordat de FP30 wordt
uitgeschakeld.
Als je de FP30 langere tijd niet met de
FT897 benut, verwijder dan het netsnoer uit
het stopcontact.

Verwijder alle kabels en wacht 10 minuten
voordat de spanning omgeschakeld wordt.
Haal de sticker van de zijkant van de FP30.
Zet de schakelaar in de gewenste
netspanningskeuze: 115 of 230 Volt.
Gebruik altijd een 10 Amp. Zekering in de
zekeringshouder op de achterzijde van de
FP30

Met de FNB78 optionele Ni-MH accu wordt
voor 13.2 Volt voor de FT 897 gezorgd met
een maximum capaciteit van 4500 mAh. Je
kunt twee FNB-78’s installeren, goed voor
9Ah
Eeen volledig geladen FNB 78 NiMH acc is
normaal goed voor 4 uur gebruik.

1. schakel de tranceiver uit en verwijder
alle kabels.
2. Verwijder de 6 schroeven, 3 onder, 3
achter en verwijder de bodemplaat.
3. Plaats de FNB 78 in compartiment A
of B zo dat de aansluitlippen passen in
de gaten van het chassis.
4. Verbind de 3 pin connector van de
FNB78 met de batterij connector in
het compartiment.
5. Verwijder de plastic cap met het label
A of B van het compartiment waarin
de accu geplaatst is. Draai de plastic
cap zo dat hij gericht is met het slot in
de bodemplaat.
6. Plaats de bodemplaat terug en de 6
schroeven.

Opladen van de FNB78 kan met de CD24
lader.
1. schakel de tranceiver uit
2. verbind de input van de CD24 met de
DC voeding, plug dan de kabel van de
CD24 in de CHG-A of CHG-B plug
op de achterkant van de FT 897
3. De BATT-A of BATT-B indicator op
het front licht rood op tijdens laden.
De rode led gaat uit als de accu
volledig geladen is(ongeveer 4 uur)
4. verwijder de CHG kabel en de
voeding van de CD24

Voordat de tranceiver ingeschakeld wordt
kies A of B batterij met de A-B schakelaar op
de bovenkant.
