Bäume Fällen - nur mit entsprechender Ausbildung

m VORSICHT

Achten Sie auf gebrochene oder abgestorbene Äste, die während des Sägens hinun-

terfallen und ernsthafte Verletzungen verursachen können. Sägen Sie nicht in der

Nähe von Gebäuden oder Stromleitungen, wenn Sie nicht wissen, in welche Rich-

tung der gefällte Baum fällt. Arbeiten Sie nicht nachts, da Sie dann schlechter sehen,

oder bei Regen, Schnee oder Sturm, da die Baumfallrichtung nicht vorhersehbar ist.

• Planen Sie Ihre Arbeit mit der Kettensäge im voraus.

• Der Arbeitsbereich um den Baum sollte frei sein, damit Sie einen sicheren Stand

haben.

• Der Maschinenführer sollte sich immer auf der höher gelegenen Ebene des Ar-

beitsbereichs aufhalten, weil der Baum nach dem Fällen voraussichtlich nach

unten rollt bzw. rutscht.

Folgende Bedingungen können die Fallrichtung eines Baums beeinussen:

• Windrichtung und -geschwindigkeit

• Neigung des Baums. Die Neigung ist aufgrund von unebenem oder abschüssigem

Gelände nicht immer erkennbar. Bestimmen Sie die Neigung des Baums mit Hilfe

eines Lots oder einer Wasserwaage.

• Astwuchs (und damit Gewicht) an nur einer Seite.

• Umstehende Bäume oder Hindernisse

Achten Sie auf zerstörte und verfaulte Baumteile. Wenn der Stamm verfault ist,

kann er plötzlich brechen und auf Sie fallen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass ausreichend

Platz für den fallenden Baum vorhanden ist. Halten Sie einen Abstand von 2 1/2

Baumlängen bis zur nächsten Person bzw. anderen Objekten. Motorenlärm kann

Warnrufe übertönen.

Entfernen Sie Schmutz, Steine, lose Rinde, Nägel, Klammern und Draht von der Sä-

gestelle.
