• Een hoortoestel herstelt niet het normale gehoor,

maar kan u wel helpen om uw restgehoor zo goed

mogelijk te benutten. U zult zich echter wel moeten

realiseren dat het enige tijd duurt om aan een (nieuw)

hoortoestel en de andere en soms ook nieuwe gelui-

den te wennen.

• Het hoortoestel is gemaakt van modern, allergeen-

vrij materiaal. Slechts in zeldzame gevallen kan huid-

irritatie optreden. Mocht u merken dat de huid van

uw oorschelp of in de gehoorgang geïrriteerd raakt,

raadpleeg dan uw audicien.

• Door het dragen van een hoortoestel hebt u een iets

verhoogd risico op een ontsteking van de gehoor-

gang. Een ontsteking kan optreden als gevolg van

verminderde beluchting van het oor of door bescha-

diging van de huid, veroorzaakt door de oortip. We

adviseren u daarom om de oortip ’s nachts niet te

dragen, zodat de gehoorgang niet steeds is afgeslo-

ten. Controleer de oortip dagelijks en maak het in-

dien nodig schoon. Mocht er een ontsteking optre-

den, dan kan het nuttig zijn om de oortip met een

desinfecterend doekje schoon te maken. Maak ech-

ter nooit gebruik van alcohol, een chlooroplossing of

een vergelijkbare vloeistof om de oortip te reinigen.
