Der Spieler nimmt zwei Holzwürfel aus
seinem Vorrat in die Hand und lässt sie aus
etwa 30 bis 40 cm Höhe auf des Spielbrett fallen.
Dort, wo die Würfel landen, bleiben sie liegen. Nur
Würfel, die (zumindest teilweise) in einer Region
oder im Palast landen, bleiben auf dem Spielbrett.
Würfel, die außerhalb des Spielbereichs (also auch in
Regionen, die beim Spiel mit 2 oder 3 Mitspielern nicht verwendet
werden) oder auf dem Meer landen, werden zurück in den Vorrat
des Spielers gelegt. Werden durch die fallenden Würfel noch
andere Würfel versetzt, so bleiben diese ebenfalls dort liegen, wo
sie landen (sie können sogar verloren gehen, wenn sie das Spielbrett
verlassen oder im Meer landen). Lagen unter den versetzten Würfeln
Plättchen (Zaubertrank, Diplomat), so werden diese mit den Würfeln
mitversetzt. Werden Rattenplättchen, die Pestfi gur oder sonstige
Spielmaterialien aus einer der Erweiterungen (Bischöfe, Nonnen
usw.) versetzt, so werden diese allerdings wieder dorthin zurückgelegt,
wo sie vorher lagen. Wird ein Rattenplättchen aufgedeckt, so
muss es durch ein anderes aus dem Vorrat ersetzt werden. Das
aufgedeckte Plättchen wird dann verdeckt unter den Vorrat gemischt.

Take 2 cubes from your supply in hands and drop them
on the board from about 30 to 40 cm height. Where the
cubes end, they will settle. Only cubes landing (at least partly)
in regions or in the palace stay on the board. When cubes land
off the board (including regions not in use during a 2 or 3 player
game) or in the ocean, they are lost (put them back to the supply).
If other cubes get moved too, they stay where they end up (and
can even be killed if they get moved off the board or into the sea).
If these cubes have tokens with them (potion, diplomat), these
are moved along too. If rat tokens, the plague piece, or any other
game material from any expansion (bishop, nun, et cetera) get
moved too, they should be moved back to their original position
afterwards. If a rat token gets fl ipped, it must be replaced by a
new rat token from the supply. Shuffl e the fl ipped
rat token back into the supply.When a cube lands
exactly on the border of two regions, the player
may decide to which region the cube will be added.

Neem 2 blokjes uit je voorraad in handen en
laat ze op het bord vallen vanaf ongeveer 30
tot 40 cm hoogte. Waar de blokjes landen, zullen ze zich
vestigen. Alleen blokjes die (tenminste gedeeltelijk) in
een regio of in het paleis eindigen, blijven op het bord.
Als blokjes buiten het bord terecht komen (ook regio’s
die vanwege het spelersaantal niet meedoen horen
daarbij) of in de oceaan, zijn ze verloren (voeg ze weer toe aan je eigen
voorraad). Als andere blokjes door het gebruik van de nar worden
verplaatst, dan blijven ze staan waar ze terecht komen (ze kunnen zelfs
worden gedood als ze van het bord worden verdreven of in de oceaan
terecht komen). Als deze blokjes fi ches bevatten (denk aan de tovenaar
of de diplomaat), dan verplaats je deze mee. Als rattenfi ches, de
“Zwarte Dood”-pion of ander spelmateriaal van een uitbreiding (denk
aan het materiaal van de bisschop, de non, et cetera) wordt verplaatst
door de vallende blokjes, moeten deze worden teruggeplaatst naar
hun oorspronkelijke positie. Als een rattenfi che door de blokjes wordt
omgedraaid, moet het worden vervangen door een nieuw rattenfi che
uit de voorraad. Schud het omgedraaide fi che terug door de voorraad.
Als een blokje precies op de grens van twee regio’s terecht komt,
mag de speler kiezen aan welke regio het blokje wordt toegevoegd.

Prenez en main 2 cubes de votre réserve et laissez-les tomber
sur le plateau de jeu à 30 ou 40 cm de hauteur. Seuls les cubes
qui retombent dans une région (au moins partiellement) ou dans le
palais demeurent sur le plateau de jeu. Si les cubes terminent leur chute
en dehors du plateau, dans une région non utilisée (parties à 2-3 joueurs)
ou dans la mer, ils sont perdus (remis dans votre réserve). Si d’autres
cubes ont été déplacés, on ne les remet pas à leur place initiale, ils restent
dans la région où ils ont été déplacés (ils peuvent même être tués s’ils
sont déplacés hors du plateau ou dans la mer). Si des jetons étaient
rattachés à un cube déplacé (potion, diplomate…), ils doivent y être de
nouveau rattachés. Si un jeton rat, l’emblème de la peste ou toute autre
pièce d’une extension (nonne, évêque, etc…) sont déplacés, ils doivent
être remis à leur place initiale. Si un jeton rat est retourné, il doit être
remplacé par un nouveau jeton rat pris dans la réserve.
Mélangez le jeton rat révélé dans la réserve. Lorsqu’un
cube atterrit exactement à la frontière de deux régions,
le joueur décide à quelle région le cube est ajouté.
