THERE IS NO AIR COMING OUT OF THE AIR OUTLET. WHAT CAN I DO?
Both in the device and when purchasing additional lters, every
VENTAcel lter is protected with a high-grade foil. Please check if
you have removed this plastic foil from the VENTAcel lter.
The device was not switched on. Plug the mains plug into an outlet
and switch on the device. If the air quality is good and the automatic
mode is activated, the device automatically switches to level one to
save energy.
THE AIR FLOW COMING OUT OF THE AIR PURIFIER IS MUCH WEAKER
THAN BEFORE. WHAT CAN I DO?
Please check whether the pre-lter is polluted and clean the pre-
lters if necessary. Check the display. If a “Change Filter” message
appears, the VENTAcel lter should be exchanged. If you haven‘t
removed the entire packaging material from the lters when you
inserted the lters, the performance will be impaired. Make sure that
you have removed the entire packaging material.
THE AIR QUALITY IS NOT IMPROVING, EVEN THOUGH THE DEVICE HAS
BEEN IN OPERATION FOR A LONG TIME. WHAT CAN I DO?
One of the lters was not inserted in the device. Make sure that all
lters are inserted properly in the following sequence from inside to
outside used: 1) VENTAcel lter 2) Pre-lter.
Please check if the windows and doors are closed.
THE DEVICE INDICATES THAT I HAVE TO EXCHANGE A FILTER, EVEN
THOUGH I‘VE ALREADY DONE THIS. WHAT CAN I DO?
Make sure that the VENTAcel lter as well as the VENTA pre-lters
are inserted correctly. Next, touch the OK-button in the display for
about 3 seconds until a short signal sound is heard and the indica-
tion on the display disappears.
THE DEVICE IS NOT WORKING.
Make sure that the Purier is connected to the power supply and the
coupling of the power supply is inserted into the device.
Can the lters be washed?
Only the pre-lters can be washed. Please note that the pre-lters
must be completely dry before installation.
The other lters (VENTAcel, VENTAcarb) can NOT be washed and
can also not be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
WHAT ADVANTAGES DOES THE VENTACARB FILTER OFFER?
The VENTAcarb is an activated carbon lter that is inserted into the
VENTAcel lter and that lters odours and gases.
WHAT CAN BE DONE AGAINST COLD TOBACCO SMOKE?
The Purier achieves its optimal eect if it is run continuously over
night at the highest performance setting after the smoking has
nished. By the next morning, the room air will be cleaned of any
unpleasant, cold smoke and odours. To be able to achieve a faster
eect, insert the VENTAcarb lter into the VENTAcel lter, which
lters odours and gases.

I SEE SEVERAL WIFI NETWORKS (“SELECT NETWORK”). WHICH ONE
SHOULD I CHOOSE?
1. Either the one with the name issued by you
2. The WiFi network named on the back of the router
3. The strongest one in your listing
WHICH “SECURITY TYPE” ENCRYPTION SHOULD I CHOOSE?
1. Preferably the one that is recommended. By default this is
WPA2/PSK
2. The one that was indicated during the WiFi set-up
3. The one indicated on the rear on the rating plate of the router
THE WIFI SYMBOL IS NOT TURNING GREEN!
You have selected the wrong WiFi network. Make sure that you
are choosing the right WiFi network. You have selected the wrong
encryption. Check the type of encryption used in your WiFi network.
Your password (“PSK” (ASCII input mode)) is wrong. Make sure that
your password is correct. Enter your password again. If your pass-
word contains special characters that are not represented on the
keyboard, you can generate your entire password as a HEX code at
the following website: www.venta-luftwaescher.de. Now enter your
generated HEX code into the “PSK” eld (HEX input mode) and
conrm it with the ENTER key. Under “Access”, select the internet
access privileges you desire.
I CAN‘T FIND A WIFI NETWORK?
Check that your WiFi network is switched on. Usually an LED with
the designation WiFi or WiFi glows on the router. Check if your WiFi
network is set to „visible“ in the router. In the “Select network” eld,
enter the WiFi network name that you know or that is indicated on
the back of the router. Then select WPA2/PSK encryption and enter
the WiFi -key (either the known key or the one on the back of the
router). Does your router support the 802.11a/b/g or n standard?
This can only be specied via the type of the router (technical data),
LW WiFi only supports 802.11a/b/g/n.
WHY DO I NEED THE VENTA APP?
The device functions can be expanded and controlled with the help
of the Venta app.
WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE VENTA APP?
The Venta app is available for smartphones and tablets.
You can download the Venta app at the following website:
www.venta-luftwaescher.de. Then follow the instructions on your
smartphone/tablet screen. When a connection is being established
between the app and the device, a signal tone is emitted. Now
conrm connection establishment to your smartphone/tablet on
your device.
MY VENTA APP ISN‘T WORKING. WHAT CAN I DO?
Uninstall the previously downloaded version and then download the
Venta app again. Contact the Venta customer service department.
