USE
THIS APPLIANCE IS SUITED FOR INDOOR USE ONLY, BUT IT CANNOT BE USED IN A BARN, STABLE,
COWSHED OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR PLACE.
• This appliance eliminates flying insects such as mosquitoes, flies…
• The ultraviolet light attracts the insects, the suction fan sucks the insects towards the high
voltage metal grid and when they touch the high voltage electrode, they are killed
instantly.
• Put the appliance on a piece of furniture and make sure that it is out of the reach of
children.
• The best spots are generally the darkest areas of the room.
• Do not place the appliance in an area that is too brightly lit as it would lose some of its
efficiency.
• To put the appliance into service, you just need to plug it in and put the switch on « I ».
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is switched off,
unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled down.
• To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft cloth.
• Never use abrasive products.
• On no account must the appliance be immersed in water or any other liquid.
• Pull out the collection tray from the back side of the appliance and remove the dead
insects.
• Remove the plastic front grid, remove the dead insects and wipe the internal grid
carefully with a small brush. Avoid touching the internal grid with your fingers.
• Put the collection tray back in place correctly.
• Put the front grid back in place correctly.
• We recommend cleaning/emptying the appliance regularly (every 4-5 uses).
REPLACEMENT OF THE ULTRAVIOLET LAMP
The ultraviolet lamp has to be replaced with a lamp with the same characteristics and this has
to be done by a competent qualified electrician.
ATTENTION: THE LAMPS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.

municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.
