INSTALLATION
Anschluß an
Aufputzinstallation
Bei Anschluß an Aufputzinstallation
wird ein handelsüblicher R 1/2 -
Deckenwinkel benötigt.
Der Gewindestutzen des Kaltwasser-
Absperrventils (11) wird auf 10 mm
bis 12 mm gekürzt und auf den
Deckenwinkel aufgeschraubt.
Nun wird das Kaltwasser-Absperr-
ventil (11) an den Boiler angebracht.
Den Befestigungsbügel (13) auf den
erforderlichen Wandabstand einstel-
len und den VEK 5 L mit dem Decken-
winkel, entsprechend vorstehendem
Abschnitt, montieren.
Anschluß an
Unterputzinstallation
Am Kaltwasseranschluß (16) die mit-
gelieferte Montageschablone auf-
stecken, wie in Abb. 4 gezeigt. Die
Befestigungspunkte anreißen, zwei
Bohrungen Ø 5 mm waagerecht und
symmetrisch über dem Kaltwasseran-
schluß anbringen; Dübel einsetzen.
Das Kaltwasser-Absperrventil (11) mit
Absperrschraube (12) nach unten
anbringen.
Den Befestigungsbügel (13) vom
VEK 5 L nehmen. Dazu die Befesti-
gungsschrauben (14) lösen, jedoch
nicht herausdrehen.
Den Befestigungsbügel (13) - wie in
Abbildung 4 gezeigt - mit den beiden
Holzschrauben (15) in der Wand
befestigen.
Anschluß eines
WAS-Ventils
Ein weiteres Gerät (z. B. Waschma-
schine oder Spülmaschine) kann mit
demselben Kaltwasseranschluß (16)
wie der VEK 5 L verbunden werden.
Dazu ist ein handelsübliches Wasch-
maschinen-Anschlußventil (WAS-Ventil
„Elektro-Kurz”) mit einem Baumaß bis
30 mm erforderlich. Der Gewindestut-
zen des Kaltwasser-Absperrventils (11)
wird auf 10 bis 12 mm gekürzt und
auf das WAS-Ventil in den R 1/2-Kalt-
wasseranschluß (16) eingeschraubt.
Der Befestigungsbügel (13) ist auf
den erforderlichen Wandabstand ein-
zustellen und der VEK 5 L auf das
Kaltwasser-Absperrventil (11) mit
WAS-Ventil, wie vorstehend beschrie-
ben, zu montieren.
Durchführung
Das Kaltwasser-Absperrventil (11)
wird geöffnet, indem die Absperr-
schraube (12) nach links gedreht
wird. Danach wird der Temperatur-
wähler (2) auf 0 gedreht und der
Netzstecker in die Schutzkontaktsteck-
dose eingesteckt. Um Schmutz, z. B.
Montagerückstände, zu entfernen, ist
der VEK gut durchzuspülen.
Danach ist der VEK 5 L mit etwa
ein Liter Wasser zu füllen.
Seine Funktion bei der Bereitung von
warmem sowie kochendem Wasser ist
entsprechend Kapitel „Bedienung“,
Seite 6, zu prüfen.

Benutzer unterrichten
Nach der Erstinbetriebnahme ist dem
Benutzer die Bedienung und Pflege
des VEK 5 L zu erklären und ihm
diese Anleitung zu übergeben.
