Wat maakt de aroTHERM plus zo duurzaam: R290
R290 is een natuurlijk koudemiddel met een zeer laag
aardopwarmingspotentieel (GWP)* van 3. Het biedt een aantal voordelen:
• toekomstbestendig, omdat het niet onder de F-gasverordening valt
• hogere aanvoertemperatuur tot 75°C*
• hoger warmwatercomfort en bescherming tegen legionella zonder
elektrische bijverwarming
• werkt bij buitentemperaturen van -25°C tot +46°C
Natuurlijke koudemiddelen worden al op veel plekken in ons dagelijks
leven gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld in koelkasten. Vaillant is een van de eerste
fabrikanten die R290 in warmtepompen gebruikt.

Dit is een kengetal dat verwijst naar de technische mogelijkheid van de warmtepomp. Houd er rekening mee dat aanvoertemperaturen hoger dan 65°C de warmteafgifte
en efficiëntie van de warmtepomp aanzienlijk verminderen. Daarom raden we ten zeerste aan om systemen te ontwerpen met een aanvoertemperatuur tot max 65°C.
