5 Camera aansluiten op de computer
U kunt de Trust 620 LCD PowerC@m Zoom op twee manieren gebruiken op uw
computer, namelijk als verwijderbare harde schijf (MSDC, USB Mass Storage
Device) of als PC-Cam (WDM Web camera).
Voordat u de camera aansluit op uw computer, dient u eerst in het camera menu de
functie te selecteren die u wilt gebruiken. Volg hierbij onderstaande aanwijzingen op:
Let op: Zodra u de camera heeft aangesloten op de computer zijn alle
knoppen van de camera uitgeschakeld. Om de camera
instellingen te wijzigen dient u de camera eerst los te koppelen.
5.1 Camera als verwijderbare harde schijf gebruiken
Met de camera als verwijderbare harde schijf zijn uw foto’s en video opnamen in het
camerageheugen direct te benaderen, hetzelfde als bij een normale harde schijf. De
foto’s zijn opgeslagen als JPG plaatjes en de video opnamen zijn opgeslagen als
AVI filmpjes. Volg onderstaande aanwijzingen op:
Let op: Het MSDC stuurprogramma moet in Windows 98 geïnstalleerd
zijn, voordat u de camera aansluit. Zie hiervoor hoofdstuk 3.
Windows ME, 2000 en XP ondersteunen standaard al de MSDC
functie van de camera.
1. Zet de camera aan met de
‘Aan/uit’ knop (D). Zie figuur 4.
2. Druk op de
‘Menu’ knop (G) om het hoofdmenu op te vragen.
3. Druk op de
‘Pijl omlaag’ knop (G) om in het hoofdmenu te bladeren naar
de optie ‘USB’. Druk vervolgens op de ‘OK’ knop (G) om de optie te
selecteren.
4. In het ‘USB’ menu selecteer de optie ‘Storage’ en druk op de ‘OK’ knop (G).
5. Druk op de
‘Pijl omlaag’ knop (G) om in het menu te bladeren naar de
optie ‘Exit’. Druk vervolgens op de ‘OK’ knop (G) om het menu af te sluiten.
6. Start Windows.
7. Sluit de bijgeleverde USB kabel aan op de digitale aansluiting (C) van de
camera. Zie figuur 6.
8. Sluit het andere uiteinde van de USB kabel aan op een vrije USB poort van
uw computer.
9. De nieuwe hardware wordt door Windows gedetecteerd. Het bijbehorende
stuurprogramma wordt automatisch gevonden en als ‘USB Mass Storage
Device’ geïnstalleerd.
10. Dubbelklik op het ‘Deze Computer’ icoon op het bureaublad van Windows. Er
is hier het icoon van een verwijderbare schijf bij gekomen (‘120_CAMERA’ in
Windows XP). Dit is het geheugen van de camera.
11. Dubbelklik op het icoon van de verwijderbare schijf en ga vervolgens naar de
map ‘\ DCIM \ 100AOLDR \’. Hierin kunt u de foto’s in JPG formaat vinden en
de filmpjes in AVI formaat. Dubbelklik op de foto’s of filmpjes om ze te
openen.
U kunt de camera nu gebruiken bij applicaties zoals MGI PhotoSuite om uw foto’s te
bewerken. Zie hoofdstuk 6.1.
