Como encher o depósito de água.

• Desligue o ferro.

• Coloque o botão de vapor para passar a seco (Fig.3)

• Encha o depósito através do orifício próprio (Fig.1, 2)

Não guarde o ferro com água no depósito.

Use água quimicamente descalcificada ou perfumada.

Se a água for densa, é aconselhável usar apenas água destilada ou desmineralizada.

Escolher a temperatura

• Verifique as instruções de passar a ferro sobre a peça a ser passada.

• Se a peça de roupa não tiver qualquer instrução para passar a ferro mas se você conhecer o tipo de

tecido em questão, use o gráfico a seguir.

• Tecidos que têm algum tipo de acabamento (polimento, rugas, contrastes..) podem ser passados com

as temperaturas mais baixas.

• Se o tecido contiver vários tipos de fibras, escolha sempre a temperatura aplicável, se um artigo

contém 60% de poliéster e 40% de algodão, deve sempre escolher a temperatura que corresponde a

poliéster e sem vapor.

• Primeiro classifique os artigos a serem passados de acordo com a temperatura mais adequada: lã com

lã, algodão com algodão, etc., visto que o ferro aquece tão depressa como arrefece, comece por

passar os artigos que requerem temperaturas mais baixas tais como os tecidos feitos com fibra

sintéticas. Continue no sentido daqueles que exigem temperaturas mais elevadas.

• Rodar o controle de temperatura até que esteja de frente do sinal apropriado de acordo com o

seguinte:

· Posição para nylon e acetato.

·· Posição para lã, seda ou misturas.

··· Posição para algodão ou linho (vapor).
