Operation and maintenance

Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
First use
Grease the anti stick coating slightly of the baking trays with oil or butter, plug the socket in the
outlet and leave it without content closed for about 5 minutes warming up.
The device may spread some smell and smoke at first use, this is normal.
During use, the trays and the shell is very hot, avoid any contact, you can seriously injure
Caution! Bread can burn.
Use
Open the device by the safety lock (C) to unlock and grease two baking trays with a little oil or
butter. The green light (A) and the red light (B) and continue to light up. Preheat the device
when closed, if the green light (A) is extinguished, the device is ready for use.
Caution! The baking plates are very hot.
Place the ingredients for the sandwich in the following way on the lower baking trays;
First a slice of bread, then the ingredients and finally another slice of bread. Close the device
(press the plates together but not too tight) and lock the grill plates with safety lock (C). When
closing the device can release some steam. Be careful that you do not burn this. After about 2
to 3 minutes, the sandwich is ready.
Of course you can experiment with the baking time for
best results. To prevent to damage the anti-stick coating you should not use sharp objects to
remove the sandwiches from the plate.
Recipes
Some tips:
A sandwich consists of two slices bread with some ingredients between it.
All common types of bread are suitable for making sandwiches.
For the best result, white bread must be one day old and cut the crust off.
The size of the ingredients (cheese, ham, etc) should be cut to fit to the bread.
Ham sandwich
Ingredients:
4 slices of bread, butter, 4 slices lean cooked ham, 2 slices of cheese and paprika powder.
Preparation:
Spread the slices of bread on one side with butter. Cover the two slices of bread with each one
slice cooked ham and cheese and sprinkle some paprika powder on it. Place the two other
slices cooked ham and the two other slices bread on it. Prepare the sandwich in the device
according this manual and serv the sandwich hot.
Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients:
4 slices of bread, 65 grams butter, 125 grams grated cheese, 2 egg yolks, salt, paprika powder,
chopped parsley.
Cream cheese preparation:
Mix 65 grams of butter with the 125 grams grated cheese,the 2 egg yolks, a pinch of salt,
some paprika powder and the chopped parsley.
Preparation:
Spread the slices of bread on one side with butter, cover two slices of bread with the cream
cheese and the other two slices of bread. Prepare the sandwich in the device according this
manual and serv the sandwich hot.

Fish sandwich
Ingredients:
4 slices of bread, butter, 1 can tuna, 4 slices of cheese, 6-8 stuffed olives (sliced).
Preparation:
Spread the slices of bread on one side with butter, cover two slices of bread with two slices of
cheese, the tuna and the sliced olives, place the other two slices of cheese and the two slices
of bread on it. Prepare the sandwich in the device according this manual and serv the
sandwich hot.
Tosti Hawaï
Ingredients:
4 slices of white bread, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of ham, 2 discs pineapple.
Preparation:
Spread the slices of bread on one side with butter, cover two slices of bread with two slices of
cheese, two slices of ham, the two pineapple discs and the other two slices of bread.
Prepare the sandwich in the device according this manual and serv the sandwich hot.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool down with both halves open.
Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or soft brush. Clean the exterior with a damp
cloth.
Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in not dishwasher proof.
