PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND
RECOMMENDATION
This non contact ear thermometer has been
designed for taking temperature of human body
trough eardrum which is the best way to get
precise temperature. Eardrum shares blood
supply with hypothalamus which is the
temperature control center in the brain.
For accurate result, clean probe and lens with
a cotton swab.
Ensure the probe is facing eardrum in straight
line.
Pull ear smoothly to flatten ear canal.
This thermometer can be only use at
temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
Temperatures measured from left and right
ears are different, there could be a slight
difference; in consequence, this is much
better to take the temperature from the same
ear.
Keep your thermometer away from water and
from any source of heat, including direct
sunlight.
SECURITY
This thermometer can be only used for which
it has been designed as explained in the
instruction booklet.
Use of this thermometer cannot replace in any
case doctor’s advice, especially when
temperature is too high or too low.
Do not immerse the unit into water.
If you have a problem with this appliance,
don’t try to repair it yourself and do not
attempt to disassemble the thermometer.
MAINTENANCE
Clean your device with a soft dry cloth, lens
with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.
Keep your thermometer away from water and
from any source of heat, including direct
sunlight.
Remove batteries from your device if you
don’t use for a long time.

USING THE PRODUCT
Inserting and changing batteries
When the power is low, the low battery signal
is displayed, you have to replace batteries.
Press and push the battery cover to open it.
Remove the old batteries and insert the new
batteries ensuring that the negative and
positive ends are at the right place.
Replace the cover
First use
Press power/memory button, signal beep
when your device is ready.
All icons display in a first step, then backlight
red, orange, green, then last measurement.
Your device is ready when icon °C is blinking.
Taking temperature
Start measuring pull ear smoothly to flatten
ear canal and place the probe facing eardrum
in straight line.
Press measurement button until you hear the
beep signal.
When the measurement is complete, the
temperature will be displayed with colored
backlight:
o Green: 35,8°C-37,3°C
o Orange: 37,4°C-38°C
o Red: 38,1°C-42,2°C
o No back light: 34°C-35,7°C
If you need to take another measurement,
allow an interval of 8 seconds until the signal
°C flashes.
To turn off your thermometer, push
power/memory button until the “OFF” signal is
displayed.
Memory
Your thermometer Thomson TTET350 stores
the last 8 temperature readings.
When power on, press power/memory button
to recall first reading. Repeat pressing
power/memory button to recall the next
readings.
To remove all data in memory, press both
power/ memory button and measurement
buttons and hold during 3 seconds. The signal
“Clr” display and the memory will be deleted.
