Füllen und Aufstellen
Dem Barometer selbst liegen nur Farbtabletten (Lebensmittelfarben) bei.
Verwenden Sie am besten destilliertes Wasser oder kochen Sie Wasser ab und färben Sie die Flüssigkeit
mit den Tabletten in Ihrer Wunschfarbe - durch Mischen von verschiedenen Farben sind Ihnen keine
Grenzen gesetzt. Stecken Sie nun den Schlauch auf die Spritze und ziehen Sie die Spritze auf. Führen Sie
den Schlauch in das Anzeigerohr (vorher anfeuchten) bis in den Kugelbauch ein und legen das Barometer
waagrecht mit dem seitlichen Anzeigerohr nach oben. Das Barometer wird einfach bis zum unteren Drittel
gefüllt.
Belüften Sie das Gerät zum Schluss, indem Sie das Barometer nochmals waagrecht mit dem Anzeigerohr
nach oben halten. Der notwendige Druckausgleich findet statt und das Barometer ist somit eingestellt und
funktionstüchtig.
Plazieren Sie das Barometer nun an einem Platz, wo es keinen großen Temperaturschwankungen
unterworfen wird. (Nicht auf die Heizung oder ans Fenster.)
Noch ein Tip: Um das Beschlagen des Gerätes mit Wasser zu vermeiden, fügen Sie dem abgekochten
Wasser 1 Tröpfchen Spülmittel bei, zum Entspannen des Wassers.
Mögliche Kalkflecken verschwinden beim Auffüllen.
Achtung:
Starke Temperaturschwankungen beeinflussen die Funktionsfähigkeit des Barometers. Vermeiden Sie
direkte Sonneneinstrahlung und Heizquellen bei der Wahl des Aufstellungsortes.
Bei extremem Sinken des Luftdrucks kann Wasser aus dem seitlichen Anzeigerohr austreten und
heruntertropfen. Berücksichtigen Sie das bitte auch bei der Standortwahl!
