AFTER USING YOUR RADIO
Set to Standby.•
Switch the unit o at the mains and unplug it if you are •
leaving it unattended for a long period (holidays etc).
CARE AND CLEANING
All care and cleaning operations should be carried out with the
unit unplugged from the mains power.
Occasionally wipe the cabinet with a lint free duster. Never
clean the unit with liquids or solvents.

No power
Check that the AC adaptor is connected correctly and •
mains power is switched on.
Poor reception
Check the signal strength (page 6). If the signal strength •
is low, try adjusting the position of the aerial. If this
doesn’t help, move the radio to a position where the signal
strength is better.
Alarm not sounding
Check that the alarm(s) have been set correctly.•
If you have set DAB or FM presets to wake you, check that •
the alarm volume is set loud enough.
DAB reception problems after moving area
The station list will need updating. Try scanning the band. •
If there are still problems with all or part of the station list,
reset the radio.
