ASTRA 4 (SIRIUS)

Verzorgt net als Thor primair het Scandinavische gebied. Een klein deel van zijn

programma’s kan echter in nagenoeg geheel Europa worden ontvangen.

EUTELSAT 5W (ATLANTIC BIRD 3)

Verzorgt primair Frankrijk en de Beneluxlanden, is echter al naargelang de trans-

ponder in heel Europa probleemloos te ontvangen. Zendt enige Franse programma’s

digitaal en ongecodeerd.

HISPASAT

Bestrijkt vooral Spanje en de Canarische Eilanden.

Het programma-aanbod is op het Spaanse gebied afgestemd.

EUTELSAT 7 (EUTELSAT W3A)

De satelliet met over het geheel het grootste ontvangstgebied. Naast heel Europa

wordt ook het Midden-Oosten bedekt. De signalen zijn over het geheel genomen

echter duidelijk zwakker dan bij de andere satellieten, zo dat principieel het gebruik

van een 85 cm antenne raadzaam is.

HELLAS SAT 2

Verzorgt heel Europa en de oostelijke Middellandse Zee. Het programma-aanbod is

voor het merendeel Grieks, maar er zijn ook Engelstalige kanalen te vinden.

ASTRA 3

Vroeger bekend als DFS-Kopernikus. Wordt meestal gebruikt voor aanvoer van

signalen voor de Duitse kabeltelevisie, maar er is hier ook een Tsjechisch en een

Slowaaks programmapakket te vinden.
