CHANGING THE REGISTRATION CODE
On the fax machine
On the fax machine, press MENU, 8, 7 and OK.
On the handset
Enter the four-digit code number of the base station ("0000" when supplied).
REGISTERING A HANDSET WITH A BASE STATION
On the fax machine
On the base station, press MENU, 8, 8 and OK.
On the handset
Press OK, then 9.
Use the and keys to set the number of the (free) base station (no. 1, 2, 3 or 4), with which you want
to register your handset.
On the handset, press OK.
Enter the four-digit code number of the base station ("0000" when supplied). The display shows all the free
subscriber numbers.
On the handset, enter the desired subscriber number.
The base station sends an acoustic signal to confirm registration.

SETTING UP AN OUTSIDE CALL
Your handset must be in radio connection with the base station (the display shows the internal number of the
handset):
Press (the symbol appears in the display). Enter the desired telephone number.
To end the call, press again.
Note: Alternatively, you can enter the number direct and then press .
TAKING A CALL
Your handset rings. Press . You are connected.
To end the call, press again.

If your fax machine has an integral answering machine, you can access it with your handset.
A blinking symbol in the display indicates that messages have been recorded.
Press (INTERNAL CALL) and 7: You can now listen to your messages and remotely control the
answering machine.
