o Leuchtet die ALARM-Anzeige auf?
Schalten Sie das T-Fax System aus. Warten Sie 15 Sekunden, und schalten
Sie das Gerät wieder ein. Die ALARM-Anzeige sollte jetzt nicht mehr
leuchten. Überprüfen Sie das Gerät außerdem auf einen Papierstau.
o Werden Sie im LCD-Display des T-Fax Systems aufgefordert, die
Papiergröße zu prüfen?
Wenn Sie aus einer Windows-Anwendung drucken, kann ein Konflikt in
der Druckereinrichtung vorliegen. Stellen Sie sicher, daß die
ausgewählten Papiergrößen folgende Bedingungen erfüllen:
o Papierzufuhr des T-Fax Systems
Das Papier im Mehrzweckfach des T-Fax Systems muß mit der
eingestellten Papiergröße übereinstimmen.
o Desktop Manager
Klicken Sie im Desktop Manager im Menü „Einrichten“ auf „Fax
einrichten“. Prüfen Sie im Register „Fax empfangen“, ob in der Liste
„Papiergröße“ das richtige Papierformat ausgewählt ist.
o Verwendete Windows-Anwendung
Vergewissern Sie sich, daß in der Seiten- oder Druckereinrichtung
der Windows-Anwendung die richtige Papiergröße ausgewählt ist.
Wenn Sie im LCD-Display des T-Fax Systems immer noch aufgefordert
werden, die Papiergröße zu prüfen, rufen Sie die Eigenschaften des T-Fax
Systems im Windows-Desktop auf. Klicken Sie im Dialogfeld
„Eigenschaften von Telekom T-Fax System“ auf das Register „Papier“.
Stellen Sie sicher, daß im Feld „Papiergröße“ die richtige Papiergröße
angezeigt wird.
o Gibt der Drucker kein Papier aus?
Das T-Fax System muß über ein bidirektionales Parallelkabel mit dem PC
verbunden sein. Überprüfen Sie die Computereinrichtung, um zu
gewährleisten, daß der primäre Parallelanschluß auf den richtigen
Druckeranschluß, z. B. LPT1 oder LPT2, eingestellt ist. In der Windows-
Anwendung muß das Telekom T-Fax System als Drucker ausgewählt
sein.
