Mit dem Computer faxen
Mit dem Desktop Manager und Ihrem T-Fax System können Sie Faxe
senden und empfangen. Sie können auch ein Adreßbuch einrichten, das
häufig verwendete Fax- und E-Mail-Adressen enthält, und Ihr eigenes
Fax-Deckblatt erstellen. Das Faxprotokoll enthält einen Eintrag für jedes
gesendete oder empfangene Fax und unterstützt Sie so bei der
Verwaltung Ihrer Faxe.
Sie können Ihr T-Fax System auch individuell anpassen, indem Sie die
vordefinierten Benutzereinstellungen ändern. Zu diesen Einstellungen
gehören das Format für das auf gefaxten Dokumenten angezeigte Datum
und die Anzahl der Wiederholversuche, wenn die Gegenstelle beim
ersten Anwählen besetzt ist. Mit dem Desktop Manager können Sie auch
Zielwahlcodes und Gruppennummern einrichten und diese zum T-Fax
System herunterladen. Informationen zum Ändern der Setup-Optionen
finden Sie in Kapitel 8 „T-Fax-Druckereinrichtung und andere
Hilfsprogramme im Desktop Manager“.
Fax mit dem Computer senden (PC-Fax)
Mit dem Faxtreiber des T-Fax Systems können Sie ein Fax von jeder
Windows-Anwendung aus senden, die das Drucken von Dokumenten
unterstützt.
Der T-Fax Desktop Manager sendet das PC-Fax an den Faxausgangs-
Manager, der es so lange überwacht, bis es fertig übertragen ist. Wenn Sie
mehrere Empfänger angegeben haben, wird für jeden Empfänger ein
Faxauftrag an den Faxausgangs-Manager gesendet. Nachdem ein Fax
übertragen ist, wird es im Ordner „Gesendetes Fax„ abgelegt (es sei
denn, Sie haben angegeben, daß es nach der Übertragung gelöscht
werden soll). Im Faxprotokoll wird ein Eintrag für das gesendete Fax
erstellt. Wenn eine Faxübertragung fehlschlägt (z. B. aufgrund einer
falschen Faxnummer), bleibt das Fax so lange im Faxausgangs-Manager,
bis Sie es erneut senden oder löschen.
