Manueller Empfang
Eine Methode zum Empfangen von Dokumenten, indem Sie alle
Anrufe mit dem externen Telefon entgegen nehmen. Ein
langsames Signal deutet auf eine Dokumentübertragung von
einem anderen Faxgerät hin. Drücken Sie 5 (Start/Kopie), um das
Dokument zu empfangen.
MFV/+ -Taste
Ermöglicht das kurzfristige Umschalten von Impuls- auf
Mehrfrequenzwahl. In einigen Ländern ist evtl. nur die
Mehrfrequenzwahl möglich.
Modem
Ein Gerät, daß digitale Daten für die Übertragung auf
Telefonleitungen moduliert. Beim Empfänger wandelt es diese
modulierten Daten in ein Digitalformat.

Nebenanschluß
Ein externes Telefon, daß an eine TAE-Dose angeschlossen ist. Sie
können den Apparat verwenden, um den Empfang von
Dokumenten manuell einzuschalten.
Normales Wählen
Drücken Sie die numerischen Tasten, um eine Rufnummer zu
wählen.
Numerische Tasten
Die runden, numerierten Tasten auf dem Bedienfeld, die wie auf
einem Telefon angeordnet sind. Nutzen Sie diese für die manuelle
Wahl. Sie können auch Nummern und Buchstaben zum Speichern
über dieses Feld eingeben, oder für die mehrstelligen Codes für
die Kurzwahl.
