Vorbereiten der Dokumente
Einstellen von Auflösung und Kontrast ______
Zum Senden oder Kopieren von Dokumenten können Sie Auflösung und Kontrast an Ihrem
Telefax einstellen.
■ Was versteht man unter “Auflösung”?
Die Auflösung bestimmt die Qualität des reproduzierten Dokuments. Für die meisten
Textdokumente ist die STANDARD-Auflösung ausreichend. Bei Dokumenten mit sehr feinem
Druck sollte die Auflösung auf FEIN und bei Dokumenten, die Fotos enthalten, auf FOTO
eingestellt werden.
■ Einstellen der Auflösung
Um die Auflösung einzustellen, muß zuerst das
Dokument eingelegt werden (s. S. 49)
❚ STANDARD
Drücken Sie die Taste [AUFLÖSUNG], bis
STANDARD erscheint.
Die Standard-Auflösung beträgt 3,85
Zeilen/mm
Beim Kopieren wird das Dokument
automatisch in der FEIN-Einstellung kopiert,
auch wenn Sie STANDARD eingestellt
haben.
❚ FEIN
Drücken Sie die Taste [AUFLÖSUNG], bis FEIN erscheint.
Die feine Auflösung beträgt 7,71 Zeilen/mm
❚ FOTO
Zum Einlesen von Dokumenten, die Fotos enthalten, sollten Sie die Einstellung FOTO
wählen. In dieser Einstellung werden die Bereiche des Dokuments, die Fotos enthalten,
automatisch mit 64 verschiedenen Grautönen gescannt und nicht mit den normalerweise
üblichen zwei Farbtönen, schwarz und weiß. Die Foto-Auflösung beträgt 203 dpi × 196 dpi.
Fotografien können somit wesentlich besser reproduziert werden.
■ Kontrasteinstellung
Den Kontrast für den Einlesevorgang können Sie mit Hilfe der KONTRASTWAHL unter
BEDIENEREINGABEN einstellen (siehe S. 83). Wählen Sie für helle Originale die
Einstellung DUNKLER und für dunkle Originale die Einstellung HELLER.
