Fax/Tel-Umschaltung __________________________
Wenn Sie in Ihrem Büro über nur eine Telefonleitung verfügen, können Sie Ihr Telefax so
einstellen, daß es sowohl Fax- als auch Telefonanrufe empfängt.
■ Einstellen des Telefax auf Fax/Tel-Umschaltung
Das Telefax wurde bereits vom Werk auf Tel/Fax-Umschaltung voreingestellt. Daher müssen
Sie die folgenden Schritte nur ausführen, wenn Sie die Voreinstellung geändert haben.

Drücken Sie die Taste
[EMPFANGSMODUS], bis FAX/TEL
MODUS im Display erscheint.

Drücken Sie die Taste
[START/KOPIE].
Nachdem diese Einstellung
vorgenommen wurde,
erscheinen die Zeit und FAX/TEL im
Display.
■ Automatischer Empfang von Dokumenten und Telefonanrufen
Sie können Ihr Telefax darauf einstellen, alle über die Fax-/Telefonleitung ankommenden
Anrufe zu überwachen. Sobald das Telefax einen Anruf entgegennimmt, prüft es, ob der Anruf
von einem anderen Faxgerät oder von einem Telefon stammt.
Der automatische Empfang ist nicht möglich, während Sie kopieren, Berichte
drucken oder Informationen speichern. Siehe S. 75.

Vergewissern Sie sich, daß Sie
ein externes Telefon
angeschlossen haben.

Vergewissern Sie sich, daß das
Telefax auf FAX/TEL MODUS
eingestellt ist (siehe oben).
Das Telefax prüft nun bei jedem ankommenden Anruf, ob er von einem anderen Faxgerät oder
von einem Telefon stammt.
❚ Handelt es sich um einen Faxanruf, schaltet das Telefax automatisch auf Empfang und
empfängt das Dokument.
❚ Handelt es sich um einen Telefonanruf, klingelt das Telefax, um Sie darauf hinzuweisen,
den Hörer abzunehmen.
