Benutzen Sie den Faxdienst möglichst nicht bei schutzbedürftigen

Daten. Dies sind zum Beispiel personenbezogene Mitteilungen,

religiöse oder politische Anschauungen sowie Übermittlungen auf

Grund von Arbeitsverhältnissen. Wenn diese wegen Eilbedürftigkeit

nur per Fax übermittelt werden können, müssen Sie durch besonde-

re Vorkehrungen sicherstellen, dass die Sendung nur dem

richtigen Empfänger persönlich zugeht. Kündigen Sie die Übermitt-

lung vorher telefonisch an und vereinbaren Sie mit dem Empfänger,

dass dieser am Faxgerät auf den Eingang wartet. Dieses Verfahren

müssen Sie auch anwenden, wenn Sie der Empfänger sind und

Ihnen Daten per Fax übermittelt werden.

Teilen Sie dem Empfänger mit, aus wieviel Seiten die Faxsendung

besteht und geben Sie eine Telefonnummer für Rückfragen an. Dies

können Sie einfach durch ein vorangestelltes Deckblatt erledigen.

Stellen Sie das Faxgerät nur in solchen Räumen auf, in denen

sichergestellt ist, dass ankommende Faxsendungen nicht unbeob-

achtet ankommen und von Unbefugten entnommen oder eingesehen

werden.
