Ingrediënten voor 4 personen:
2 bananen
2 sinaasappelen
8 aardbeien
4 abrikozen
1 citroen
4 sneetjes witbrood
80 g boter
1 klein borrelglaasje rum
5 eetlepels suiker
enkele citroenblaadjes
Bereiding:
Pel de bananen en snijd ze in plakken. Was de rest van het fruit onder stromend
water. Snijd de citroen en sinaasappelen in partjes, laat de aardbeien heel en halveer
de abrikozen en verwijder de pitten. Doe het fruit in een schaal, los drie eetlepels
suiker op in de rum en schenk dit over het fruit. Laat alles in de koelkast 20 minuten
rusten, roer af en toe even door indien nodig om te zorgen dat de rum goed in kan
trekken. In de tussentijd snijdt u de korst van het brood en snijd u het in blokjes van
ongeveer 2 cm. Smelt de boter en in steelpan en besmeer het brood ermee. Strooi een
eetlepel suiker over de broodblokjes.
Verdeel alles over een totaal van 8 houten prikkers, brood en fruit om en om.
Bestrooi de prikkers met de rest van de suiker en bak op een hete gril in 10 minuten
onder af en toe keren. Verdeel de citroenblaadjes over kleine ovenschaaltjes en leg de
spiesen op de schaaltjes en serveer aansluitend.
