Voorbereiding
Welk soort water moet u gebruiken ?
• Uw strijkijzer is bedoeld voor gebruik met gewoon leidingwater.
• Gebruik nooit water met toevoegsels (stijfsel, parfum, aromatische stoffen,
wasverzachter, enz) of accu- of condenswater (bijvoorbeeld het water van een
wasdroger, een koelkast of een airconditioner of regenwater). Zij bevatten
namelijk organisch afval of minerale elementen die zich concentreren onder
invloed van warmte en veroorzaken waterdruppels, bruine vlekken, lekkage of
een vroegtijdige veroudering van uw strijkijzer.
Vul de stoomtank
• Plaats de stoomgenerator op een hittebestendige, stabiele en horizontale onder-
grond. Gebruik bij voorkeur een stoomdoorlatende strijkplank.
• Controleer of de stekker niet in het stopcontact zit.
• Draai de vuldop van de stoomtank los.
• Gebruik een karaf water voor het vullen met maximaal één liter water. Zorg dat
u geen water langs de vulopening giet (A).
• Draai de vuldop van de stoomtank goed vast.
Gebruik de telescopische snoeruitgang
(afhankelijk van het model)
• Uw strijkijzer is voorzien van een telescopische snoeruitgang, om te voorkomen
dat het snoer op het strijkgoed komt en dit tijdens het strijken opnieuw kreukt.
• Neem het stoomsnoer uit zijn behuizing en rol het volledig uit.
• Verwijder het bandje om de snoeruitgang vrij te maken.
• Druk op de ontgrendelknop (B) en de telescopische snoeruitgang klapt
automatisch uit.
• Wanneer de snoeruitgang kantelt, klapt het telescopische systeem automatisch
uit zonder dat u op de ontgrendelknop hoeft te drukken.
De stoomgenerator aanzetten
• Rol het netsnoer volledig uit en neem het stoomsnoer uit zijn behuizing.
• Steek de stekker in een geaard stopcontact.
• Druk op de aan/uit-schakelaar. Deze gaat branden en de stoomtank warmt op.
• Na ca. 8 minuten of wanneer het controlelampje "stoom klaar" gaat branden
(afhankelijk van het model), is de stoom klaar.
• Tijdens het strijken gaan de controlelampjes van het strijkijzer (4) en van de
stoom (afhankelijk van het model) aan en uit afhankelijk van de verwarmings-
behoeften.
Als het water echter heel
hard is, mengt u het voor
de helft met
gedemineraliseerd of
gedistilleerd water, dat in
de winkel verkrijgbaar is.
Gebruik altijd de
telescopische
snoeruitgang voor een
groter gebruiksgemak.

Beschrijving
Indien er water langs
de vulopening loopt,
veeg het dan direct weg
met een zachte doek.
Tijdens het eerste
gebruik kan er rook en
een geur ontstaan die
niet schadelijk zijn.
Dit verschijnsel, dat geen
gevolgen voor het
gebruik van het apparaat
heeft, zal snel verdwijnen.
