FUNKGESTEUERTE ZEITANZEIGE
Die Zeitbasis für die funkgesteuerte Zeitanzeige ist eine von der Physikalisch Technischen
Bundesanstalt Braunschweig betriebene Cäsium-Atomuhr mit einer rechnerischen
Ganggenauigkeit von 1 Sekunde in 1 Mio. Jahren.
Diese Uhrzeit wird zum DCF-77-Zeitsignal (77,5kHz) kodiert und von einem Langwellensender in
Mainflingen bei Frankfurt über einen Senderadius von etwa 1500 km abgestrahlt. Befindet sich
Ihre Weckeruhr innerhalb dieses Sendebereiches, so empfängt sie dieses Signal, rechnet es um
und zeigt damit stets die absolut genaue Zeit an.
DCF-77-EMPFANGSTEST
Nachdem die Batterie eingesetzt ist, wird die Weckeruhr sofort automatisch versuchen, das
DCF-77-Zeitsignal zu empfangen. In normaler Umgebung (d.h. in sicherer Entfernung von
Störquellen wie z.B. Fernsehgeräten) dauert es bis zum Empfang der Funksignale etwa 3 - 5
