PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE L'APPARECCHIO PER LA PRIMA VOLTA.
Per un corretto funzionamento, far bollire 2 o 3 volte, tramite l’apparecchio, dell’acqua
fresca nel recipiente, senza mettere il caffè.
Quando l'acqua è travasata spegnere l'apparecchio e lasciarlo raffreddare per 5 minuti.
PER FARE IL CAFFÈ
Versare la quantità d'acqua desiderata nel serbatoio. Il numero di tazze è visibile
sull'indicatore che si trova sul serbatoio.
Mettere un filtro nel portafiltro e riempire con la quantità di caffè macinato desiderata.
Rimettere il portafiltro al posto suo, assicurandosi che sia correttamente posizionato.
Non dimenticare di chiudere il coperchio prima di mettere l’apparecchio in moto. Per
accendere l’apparecchio, posizionare l’interruttore su 1: la spia luminosa si accenderà.
Quando si toglie la caraffa termica dall'apparecchio, una valvola antigoccia si chiude
automaticamente per evitare che non cadano gocce di caffè sulla piastra. Quando si
rimette la caraffa termica il sistema antigoccia si riapre, consentendo al caffè che rimane
nel filtro di passare.
Quando il caffè è preparato, aspettare che il filtro sia completamente vuoto prima di
togliere la caraffa termica.
Consigli pratici: quando la caraffa è vuota, attendere qualche minuto, poiché qualche
goccia d’acqua potrebbe ancora scendere dal filtro.
Per mantenere il caffè caldo, togliere il termos ed il coperchio si chiuderà da solo.
INTERRUZIONE AUTOMATICA
L’apparecchio è dotato di un dispositivo di arresto automatico. Quando il caffè è passato
nella caffettiera, l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente senza bisogno di intervenire
sull’apposito interruttore. Questa funzione può essere resettata manualmente. Per far ciò
premere il pulsante “reset” vicino all’interruttore di accensione.
Se la spia luminosa non si accende, premere “reset” per permettere all’apparecchio di
accendersi.
Questo meccanismo è importante perché permette il prolungamento della vita
dell’apparecchio. Il termos mantiene caldo il caffè senza bisogno di fonti di calore
aggiuntive.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Si consiglia di disincrostare regolarmente la caffettiera per prolungare la sua longevità.
Per la pulizia utilizzare i prodotti disincrostanti che si trovano in commercio, rispettando le
istruzioni indicate.
Per le altre parti, usare un panno morbido leggermente umido.
Non mettere mai la caraffa termica nella lavastoviglie.
