PRIMA DEL PRIMO UTILIZZO
Bisogna sciacquare la caffettiera prima del primo utilizzo. Riempire l'apparecchio con acqua
fredda e far funzionare a vuoto (cioè senza caffè).
Dopo questa operazione spegnere l'apparecchio e lasciar raffreddare per 5 minuti. Ripetere
l'operazione 3 volte, sempre con acqua fredda.
PREPARAZIONE DEL CAFFÈ
Versare la quantità d'acqua desiderata nel serbatoio. Gli indici del serbatoio segnalano la quantità
di tazze (piccole o grandi) di caffè ottenuta.
Inserire un filtro di carta e versare la quantità di caffè desiderata senza superare il livello
massimo indicato sul portafiltro. Chiudere il portafiltro.
Assicurarsi che la brocca di vetro sia ben posizionata sulla piastra.
Accendere l‟apparecchio.
Bisogna aspettare che l'acqua sia completamente passata attraverso il filtro prima che sia pronto
il caffè.
Quando si toglie la brocca dall'apparecchio, una valvola antigoccia si chiude automaticamente
per evitare che non cadano gocce di caffè sulla piastra. Quando si rimette la brocca il sistema
antigoccia si riapre, consentendo al caffè che rimane nel filtro di passare.
OPZIONE : ACCESSORIO BROCCA PER IL TÈ
PREPARAZIONE DEL TÈ
Versare la quantità d'acqua desiderata nel serbatoio della caffettiera. Non superare mai il livello
massimo corrispondente alla preparazione del tè. Questa quantità è inferiore a quella della
preparazione del caffè.
Versare la quantità di tè desiderata nel diffusore (una dose per ogni tazza).
Posizionare il diffusore nella brocca per il tè e chiudere il coperchio. Poi porre la brocca sulla
piastra.
Accendere l‟apparecchio.
Bisogna aspettare che l'acqua sia completamente passata attraverso il diffusore prima che sia
pronto il tè.
Quando si toglie la brocca dall'apparecchio, una valvola antigoccia si chiude
automaticamente per evitare che non cadano gocce d'acqua sulla piastra. Quando si
rimette la brocca il sistema antigoccia si riapre, consentendo all'acqua che rimane nel
filtro di passare.
MANTENIMENTO DELLA CAFFETTIERA E DELLE BROCHE DI VETRO
Si consiglia di disincrostare regolarmente la caffettiera per prolungare la sua longevità.
Utilizzare i prodotti disincrostanti che si trovano in commercio, rispettando le istruzioni indicate.
Assicurarsi che la caffettiera e la brocca siano raffreddate prima di pulirle.
Assicurarsi che la caffettiera e la brocca siano raffreddate prima di riempirle con acqua.
Non mettere mai le brocche di vetro nella lavastoviglie.
