-Remove the batteries if you are not
going to use the scales for a long time.
-Place the scales on a hard, flat and stable
surface and prevent it from coming into
contact with a wall or object.
-Do not store the scales by placing them
in a vertical position.
-The manufacturer is not liable for any
damages incurred as a result of improper
use of the appliance.
-Select the kg/lb (usually kg) (fig. 2)
selector position.
-Press on the weighing platform with
your foot until the “8888” symbol
appears.
NB: Wait until “0.0 kg“ appears on the
screen before stepping on the scales,
once this message appears they are ready
for use.
-Step onto the weighing platform
avoiding any sudden movements and
stand perfectly still, as the scales are
extremely sensitive.
-Remain on the weighing platform until
the weight displayed stabilises. The
scales will beep (Quasar II) when the
weight has stabilised.
-The screen will display the body weight
of the user.
-Due to the “auto-off” system, the device
switches itself off automatically once
you step off the scales.
Special messages
The following messages may be
displayed on the screen:
“----“ Weight not stable before
timeout.
“EEEE” If you weigh more than 150
kg or are using the scales incorrectly,
step off the scales as you could damage
the device.
“LO” This shows that the batteries
need to be changed. Replace them with
2 3V CR2032 lithium batteries.

Clean the device with a damp cloth and
dry it.
Never submerge the appliance in water
or any other liquid, and do not let it stand
under a running tap.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products
to clean it.
If the scales stop working or you detect
any operational faults, take the device
to an authorised Technical Support
Service centre. Do not try to repair it
yourself, as this could be dangerous.
When the device can be no longer used,
before throwing it out, remove the
batteries from the compartment and place
them in the appropriate rubbish container
for batteries.

connectez dans leur logement les piles
de lithium qui sont fournies avec le
produit (Fig. 1).
-Les piles sont protégées par une lame
en plastique. Retirez-la avant de faire
fonctionner l'appareil.
-Retirez les piles si vous n'allez pas
utiliser l'appareil avant longtemps.
-Placez l'appareil sur une surface sure,
plate et stable, et ne l'appuyez jamais
contre un mur ou un objet.
-Ne placez pas la balance en position
verticale.
-Le fabricant n'est pas responsable des
dommages entraînés par une utilisation
inappropriée de l'appareil.
-Sélectionnez la position du sélecteur
kg/lb (normalement kg) (Fig. 2).
-Appuyez avec le pied sur la plate-forme
de la balance jusqu'à ce que le symbole
« 8888 » apparaisse à l'écran.
Important ! Attendez que « 0,0 kg »
s'affiche à l'écran avant de monter sur la
balance. Ce n'est qu'après ce message
que la balance sera prête à l'utilisation.
-Montez sur la plate-forme en évitant de
faire les mouvements brusques et restez
complètement immobile car cet appareil
est très sensible aux mouvements.
-Restez sur la plate-forme jusqu'à ce que
le poids se soit stabilisé. La balance
émettra un signal sonore (Quasar II)
lorsque le poids corporel de l'utilisateur
aura été établi.
-Le poids corporel de l'utilisateur
apparaîtra à l'écran.
-En se retirant de la plate-forme et grâce
au système « auto-déconnexion »,
l'appareil se déconnectera
automatiquement.
