Installation
The mounting place must be clean, dry and dust-free, also, installation and opera-
tion must not be carried out in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
First, remove the mounting plate by rotating it slightly counter-clockwise.
For the feed-through of the connection cable with included plugs a hole is required
that is suf ciently big. Protect the plug connectors, e.g. with a small plastic bag,
from dust or dirt when pushing them through an aperture.
Due to the holes on the bottom, the camera can be mounted on a ceiling. Use suit-
able screws and wall plugs, depending on the surface.
Carefully rotate the camera inside in order for the screw holes to become accessible.
Don’t touch the electronics.
Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable or pipes
are damaged!
Before you close the camera’s housing again, you should start up the camera so
that it can be aligned accordingly. The camera can be rotated and the inclination
adjusted. Furthermore, you can perform a focusing of the lens.
The camera should not be pointed directly at bright sources of light or the sun,
since the image will be overdriven by this.
After start-up and adjustment of the camera, the cover must be replaced and locked
by a short, clockwise rotation. Hereby make sure that the black shield (3) is located
on the correct side.
