CONNECTION
1. Connect the curly cord to the handset and to the
socket marked on the side of the telephone.
2. Connect the telephone line cord of telephone on
the underside of the telephone, and then to a
network wall socket.
3. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
4. Mount the included desk stand for better angle of
display and phone.
Batteries
4x AA alkaline
batteries are needed
for the display
operation. When
is displayed, replace
all 4 batteries. Use
only good quality
batteries.
1. Unplug the
telephone cord and
remove the battery
cover.
2. Insert the batteries (4 x AA) ensuring that the
correct battery polarity is observed.
3. Replace the battery cover and connect the
telephone cord.
Disconnect the telephone line cord before
installing or replacing the batteries
BASIC SETTINGS
The set up menu is opened directly after the
telephone was plugged into the mains. The phone
will return to standby mode after 60 seconds of
inactivity or when pressing “phonebook. Confirm
with OK and the next setting is displayed. Scroll
with . Access the setup menu at any time

3. Select desired language using .

4. Select desired contrast setting (LCD
CONTRAST, 2=normal) using .

5. Select desired hour (00-23) using .

Enable/disable the LED indicator for new calls.
Select ON/OFF, and confirm with OK.
11. SERVICE ACCESS is displayed, press OK.
Use to select the access number, Press
OK, Enter the name for the service, Press OK
Changing the clock, language or contrast
If you wish to change the settings for time or
language etc. later on, repeat steps as above.
Amplification & Receiver volume control
The receiver volume can be boosted up to +40dB
max during a conversation. Press the +40dB button,
and the Boost LED will light.
You can increase the handset volume by turning
the volume control wheel (located
under the handset) to the listening level.
You can turn OFF the BOOST by pressing the
RED +40dB button (12) at any time during your
conversation, the BOOST LED will turn off and the
volume will return to normal level. After the call
when you replace the handset to the cradle, the
boost volume will be reset to normal automatically.
Note: If you do not need this additional
amplification you do not need to press the RED
+40dB boost Button.
Warning: Setting your earpiece volume too high
can damage your hearing!!!
The display
In standby mode the date and time is indicated on
the display, the total number of calls that have
been stored in the Caller ID memory, and the
number of new calls.
Timer
During a call the display shows a call timer,
indicating the duration of the call. The timer is a
simple way to help you keep track of how long the
call lasts.
MAKING A CALL
Normal call
1. Lift the handset.
2. Enter the phone number.
