WARRANTY

Your Swatch Cordless II Comfort handset is guar-

anteed by Swatch Telecom AG*) for a period of

twelve (12) months from the date of purchase un-

der the terms and conditions of the present War-

ranty. The International Swatch Warranty covers

material and manufacturing defects. The Warranty

comes into force only if the Warranty Certificate

has been filled out correctly and in full by an au-

thorised Swatch Telecom dealer.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

• fuses, bulbs, antennas and batteries;

• network and transmission problems not attribut-

able to the product;

• damage not due to material or manufacturing

defects, specifically damage caused by water,

humidity, vibration or impact;

• possible consequential damage resulting in par-

ticular from use, non-functioning or defect of the

product.

In case of defects covered by the Warranty, the

material and manufacturing defects will either be

repaired free of charge or the handset replaced, at

the sole discretion of Swatch Telecom AG*). In case

of replacement Swatch Telecom AG*) cannot guar-

antee that you will receive the same model. The

warranty for the replacement handset will end

twelve (12) months after the date of purchase of

the replaced handset. Any further claims against

Swatch Telecom AG*) and any performance under

Warranty promised by the dealer are the sole re-

sponsibility of that dealer. The Warranty shall be-

come void in the event that

• the handset is serviced or repaired by third per-

sons not authorised by Swatch Telecom AG*) or

its sales organisation;

• the telephone is damaged through the use of non-

approved accessories.

• the equipment designation (serial number) is dam-

aged or removed

Should you require work under Warranty, please

contact your official Swatch Telecom AG*) dealer

or one of the official Swatch Telecom service cen-

tres specified on the list.

The handset must be submitted along with the fully

and correctly completed Warranty Certificate. If you

are sending the product to the service centre by

post, please enclose the postage due for returning

the product to you.

The above Manufacturer’s Warranty does not af-

fect your rights against the specialist dealer nor any

other national statutory rights to which you are

entitled. If you experience any faults with your

equipment, please contact your national Swatch
