Multi-Level-Tauchgang

Ein Einzel- oder Wiederholungstauchgang, bei dem der Taucher unter-

schiedlich lange auf unterschiedlichen Tiefen verbleibt. Die Nullzeitgrenzen

dieses Tauchgangs werden nicht nur durch die maximal erreichte Tiefe

bestimmt.

Nitrox

Diese Bezeichnung wird beim Sporttauchen für jedes Luftgemisch ver-

wendet, dessen Sauerstoffanteil höher ist als der von Pressluft.

NO DEC TIME

Abkürzung für Nullzeit.

Nullzeit

Maximal zur Verfügung stehende Zeit, die der Taucher in einer

bestimmten Tiefe verbringen darf, ohne beim Auftauchen Dekompressi-

onsstopps durchführen zu müssen.

Nullzeit-Tauchgang

Tauchgang, bei dem jederzeit ohne Stopp zur Oberfläche zurückgekehrt

werden kann.

Sauerstoffanteil des Atemgases in %. Normale Pressluft hat einen Sau-

erstoffanteil von 21 %.

Oberflächenintervall

Zeit, die zwischen dem Auftauchen vom vorhergehenden Tauchgang und

dem Abstieg zum folgenden Tauchgang liegt.

Offener Kreislauf (Open-Circuit); Atemgerät, welches verbrauchtes

Atemgas auslässt.

OEA = EAN = EANx

Abkürzungen für Gasgemische (Oxygen Enriched Air Nitrox).

OLF

Abkürzung für Oxygen Limit Fraction (Sauerstofftoleranzbereich).

OTU

Abkürzung für Oxygen Tolerance Unit (Sauerstofftoleranzeinheit).
