82 | STOKKE® XPLORY® X CARRY COT WARNING
Important information
Do not use the infant carrier if it is damaged or broken.
No additional mattress shall be added to the carry cot unless rec-
ommended by the manufacturer.
The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing
the children.
Any load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest
and/or on the sides of the vehicle will aect the stability of the
vehicle.
The vehicle shall only be used with 1 child at a time.
Accessories not approved by the vehicle manufacturer shall not
be used.
The carry cot is suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll
over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum
weight of the child using the carry cot is 9 kg / 20 lbs.
Always pull on the carrying handle to ensure its properly locked
before use.
Use only replacement parts supplied or provided by the man-
ufacturer.
Be aware of the risk of open re and other sources of strong heat,
such as electric bar res, gas res, etc., in the near vicinity of the
vehicle.
The carry cot handles and bottom should be inspected regularly
for signs of damage and wear.
Never use the carry cot on a stand.
Maintenance
Maintain your stroller with regular cleanings. All technical solutions
are enclosed within the chassis resulting in smoother surfaces that
are easy to clean and maintain.
Prior to cleaning, make sure your remove excess sand, grid or mud.
Use a mixture of water and mild soap to clean the stroller. Wipe o
dirt and stains on the textiles with a damp cloth.
From time to time, remove the textiles and wash according to the
illustrations in this user guide.
If any function of the stroller is not working properly, please contact
your nearest Stokke® retailer for assistance.

Failure to follow these warnings and the instruc-
tions could result in serious injury or death.
Parcels or accessory items, or both, placed on
the unit may cause the unit to become unstable.
NEVER leave your child unattended.
Always apply the strap that connects the product
to the chassis.
The Shopping Bag is designed to carry a load of
maximum 5 kg/11 lbs.
The Changing Bag is designed to carry a load of
maximum 2 kg/4.4 lbs.
This product is designed to carry a child of maxi-
mum 9 kg/20 lb weight and 65 cm/25.6’’ height.
Excessive weight placed in carrying accessories
may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
Unstable hazardous conditions may exist if
package carrying accessories are added onto
the product.
The product will become unstable if the manu-
facturers recommended load is exceeded.
The product will become unstable if a parcel bag
or rack is used when there is no provision for one.
Suocation Hazard: Infant carrier can roll over
on soft surfaces and suocate child. NEVER place
carrier on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants have suocated:
In gaps between extra padding and side of the
bassinet/cradle,and On soft bedding.
Use only the mattress provided by manu-
facturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or
another mattress for padding.
Product can roll over on soft surfaces and suocate
child. NEVER place product on beds, sofas or other
soft surfaces.
Fall Hazard: Child’s movement can slide carrier.
NEVER place carrier near edges of counter tops,
tables, or other elevated surfaces.
Infant carriers not intended for use as infant
restraint devices in motor vehicles. NEVER use
this carrier as a means to transport an infant in
a motor vehicle.
