Si disminuye el rendimiento de corte, las
cuchillas cortan poco y las ramas se
atascan con frecuencia: reafilar las
cuchillas.
El reafilado debería realizarlo un
distribuidor especializado con una
afiladora. STIHL recomienda un
distribuidor especializado STIHL.
En otro caso, utilizar una lima plana.
Guiar la lima en el ángulo prescrito
(véase el capítulo "Datos técnicos")
respecto de la línea de las cuchillas.
N Afilar sólo la arista de corte – no
limar los salientes romos de las
cuchillas de corte ni el protector
anticortes (véase "Componentes
importantes")
N Limar siempre hacia la arista de
corte
N La lima deberá morder sólo en la
carrera de avance – alzarla al tirar
de ella hacia atrás
N Eliminar las rebabas de las cuchillas
con una piedra de repasar
N Eliminar sólo un poco de material
N Tras el afilado – eliminar el polvo de
limado o afilado y rociar las
cuchillas con disolvente de resina
