Operation
Once the appliance has been connected to
the mains, it is operational.
Safety instructions
During operation the surface of
the heater and the outcoming air
will be hot (more than 85 ºC). Danger
of burning!
Keep children away from heater!
If the heater is covered, there is a danger
of overheating!
Nothing should be placed on the heater,
leaned against it or be placed between the
wall and the heater. Towels or similar
articles only are to be hung over the towel
rail (special accessory). The exit of the
warm air must not be hindered by curtains,
washing or anything similar. No combus-
tible items made from wood, paper, tex-
tiles etc., or inflammable materials such as
wax, petrol or aerosol cans are to be
placed in the vicinity of the stream of
warm air.
The unit must not
– be operated in rooms which are subject
to a fire or explosion risk caused by
dust, gases or vapours;
– be operated in areas that are subject to
fire or explosion risks or in areas that
contain flammable or explosive materials
nor adjacent to piping systems or
appliances with flammable or explosive
materials.
For this reason, the minimum distances
must be strictly observed (Fig. 5).
Work that could produce inflam-
mable gases, such as laying or
sealing of parquet flooring or PVC
surfaces or the use of spray wax,
petrol or anything similar, should
only be carried out with the unit
inoperative.
Because of the rising warm air, discolou-
ration of the wall can occur as with other
similar heaters.
Appliances with towel rails
(optional extra)
This appliance must only be used
for drying textiles that have been
washed in water.
The appliance should only be
opened when disconnected from
the mains supply and only by a service
technician!
Cleaning
The heater can be cleaned, when switched
off, by using a damp cloth and a mild
detergent then dried and polished.

Les parois extérieures ainsi que
l’air sortant de l’appareil
deviennent chaud (supérieures á 85 °C)
pendant son fonctionnement. Il existe
un risque de brûlure !
Tenir les enfants éloignés de l’appareil.
Ne pas couvrir: risque d'incendie!
Ne pas poser ou appuyer d'objets sur
l'appareil, ne pas en placer entre le
convecteur et le mur. Ne pas gêner la
sortie d'air par des rideaux, linges ou
autres. Ne pas placer dans le courant d’air
chaud, à proximité de l'appareil, des objets
combustibles en bois, papier, textiles, etc.,
ni des matières inflammables ou risquant
de provoquer des incendies (cire, essence,
bombes aérosol, etc.). Respecter les
distances minimales!
L’appareil ne doit pas être mis en service :
– dans des locaux qui sont exposés à la
poussière, aux gaz ou aux vapeurs
risquant de provoquer un incendie ou
une explosion;
– à proximité de conduites ou de
réservoirs qui véhiculent ou contiennent
des produits inflammables ou pouvant
provoquer une explosion.
C’est pour cette raison que les cotes
minimales (fig. 5) sont à respecter
scrupuleusement.
Les travaux, tels que la pose de
parquets ou la vitrification de plan-
chers ou encore le revêtement par
un tapis en PVC ou l’application d'un
spray de cirage, d’essence ou de
produits équivalents avec risque de
formation de vapeurs inflammables
ne devront être exécutés qu’après
mise à l’arrêt du chauffage.
La sortie d’air chaud peut comme sur tous
les autres chauffages de même nature
entraîner une décoloration du mur.
Le convecteur soufflant ne devra
être ouvert qu’après débranche-
ment par un installateur qualifié!
Entretien
Essuyer à l’aide d’un linge humide le
chauffage éteint – le cas échéant en
recourant à un produit de nettoyage non
agressif – et polir à sec. Les produits de
nettoyage abrasifs ou agressifs sont à
éviter.
Werking
Na de aansluiting aan het stroomnet is de
convector bedrijfsklaar.
Opgelet!
De behuizing van het toestel en
de uitgeblazen lucht worden in
werking heet (boven 85 °C). Het
bestaat gevaar voor verbranding!
Kleinkinderen zekerlijk van het toestel
afhouden!
Bij afdekking bestaat oververhittingsgevaar!
Er mogen geen voorwerpen op het
verwarmingsapparaat worden gelegd, er
tegen geplaatst worden of tussen verwarmings-
apparaat en muur worden geschoven.
Handdoeken en derg. alleen over het
handdoekenrek hangen (speciaal accessoires).
De vrije luchtuitgang mag niet door
afdekken van het rooster (warme lucht) met
gordijnen, wasgoed of dergelijk worden
belemmerd. In de warme luchtstroom
mogen in de nabijheid van het verwarmings-
apparaat geen brandbare voorwerpen van
hout, papier, textiel, enz. staan alsmede
ontvlambare of brandge-vaarlijke stoffen
zoals was, benzine, spray-bussen enz.
Het toestel mag niet
– gebruikt worden in ruimten met brand- of
explosiegevaar door stof, gassen of dampen;
– in de onmiddelijke nabijheid van
leidingen en vaten gebruikt worden, die
brandbare of explosiegevaarlijke stoffen
transporteren of bevatten.
Om deze reden moeten de minimum-
afstanden (afb. 5) worden nageleefd.
Alleen bij uitgeschakeld apparaat
werken uitvoeren, waarby ontvlam-
bare dampen kunnen ontstaan,
zoals b.v. bij het parketteren of
verzegelen van parket resp. PVC-
bedekking of tijdens het gebruik van
sprayboen-was, benzine of dergelijk.
Door de opstijgende warmte kan, zoals bij
alle andere gelijksoortige verwarmings-
apparaten, aan de muur een verkleuring
optreden.
Apparaat met handdoekhouder
(speciale accessoires)
Dit apparaat mag alleen voor het
drogen van textiel (gewassen met
water) gebruikt worden.
Het apparaat mag slechts in
spanningsvrije toestand worden
geopend en alleen door een vakman.
Onderhoud
Voor het reinigen het uitgeschakeld
verwarmingsapparaat met een vochtige
doek – eventueel met een zacht reinig-
ingsmiddel – afwrijven en droogwrijven.
