zullen zich gerustgesteld voelen, wetende dat eender waar ter wereld

SPOT hen toelaat te weten waar u bent en dat alles OK is. Ze kunnen zelfs

uw avonturen opvolgen met Google Maps TM, waarbij ze in real time uw

route kunnen nagaan. Belangrijkst van al, in tijden van nood kunt u hulp

vragen aan hen of aan de GEOS 911 Internationale Noodcentrale, op de

plats waar u zich bevindt. Alles gebeurt geheel onafhankelijk van GSM

netwerken of radiodekking. SPOT gebruikt GPS satellieten om uw positie te

bepalen en communicatiesatellieten om die gegevens door te sturen naar de

gekozen ontvangers, met een onberispelijke kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid.
