Figure 3:
When xing the mounting plate to the TV set, make absolutely certain that you
use the correct screws. Not only must these be of the correct thread type for
the TV set, but they must also not be too long; otherwise they will damage the
TV set.
The screws must not be too short, however, since otherwise the connection
will not be secure. The screws must be screwed into the threaded xture holes
on the TV set with at least 5 full 360° turns.
Should the screw length of the screws in the enclosed mounting screw set (M)
not be suitable for your TV set, please acquire suitable screws at your local
hardware store.
If you have any doubt about the correct length of the screws required, we rec-
ommend that you contact the TV manufacturer or an appropriate specialist.
Make absolutely certain that the mounting plate is mounted in the centre of the
TV set.
Attach the base plate with suitable screws and washers from the mounting screw set (M) to
the back of your TV set.
Make sure to mount the base plate the right way round. The arrow on the base plate
with the label UP must point upward.
If the back of your TV set is curved or if you want to mount the TV set at a greater distance
from the wall, you can insert one or two of the provided spacers (M-G) between the base plate
and the back of the TV.
Do not use any force when tightening the screws; otherwise the TV set may be destroyed,
leading to loss of warranty/guarantee!
Figure 4:
It may be that the installation screws in the centre of the base plate need to be
loosened or tightened somewhat. To do so, use the 4 mm Allen key (H) from the
accessory set.
Lift the TV set with the base plate on the wall bracket as shown in the image.
The shoe of the base plate must be installed properly in its counterpiece on the wall bracket.
Secure the base plate with the safety catch (G) to the wall bracket as shown in the image.
Figure 5:
Tighten the two hinges of the wall bracket with the Allen keys (I and H) so that the hinges can
be moved easily but have no play. This should be repeated from time to time in later use, since
the hinge screws can become somewhat loose from moving the TV wall bracket.
Connect the connection cables to your TV set and run them through the cable holder on the
wall mounting plate.
Also, secure the cables with the cable holders (C and D) on the arm of the wall bracket.
When laying the cables, leave enough manoeuvring room so that the cables are not
strained or trapped when you move the wall bracket.
Figure 6:
The TV screen can now be pivoted, tilted or turned as shown in the image.
Maintenance and care
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry
cloth, requires no maintenance whatsoever.
