OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, always thoroughly clean your SOLIS
MINI and any accessories coming in contact with
food (containers, caps, jars etc.) as directed in
the “INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING” paragraph.
Vacuum packing using SOLIS MINI pre-cut bags or rolls
1. Position the appliance in a dry place on a level surface,
making sure that the work area in front of the appliance
itself is clear of obstacles and there is enough room to
accommodate the bags with the food to be packed.
Plug the power cord into a power socket corresponding
to the voltage of the appliance (see technical details).
2. SOLIS MINI bags are available in two widths: 20 and
30 cm. Choose the bag size suited for the food you
intend to preserve. Check that the bag you are going to
use is at least 8 cm longer than the food to be pack-
aged, taking into account an additional 2 cm for each
time the bag will be subsequently reused.

(20 cm)
3. Vacuum packing by using pre-cut bags (20 cm)
3a Lift the lid (5.) and turn it in the open position until
you hear a slight click.
3b Place food in the bag without creasing it excessively
or stretching surfaces. Eliminate any liquids or
food residues from the area inside the bag that
will be sealed.
3c Place the bag and its contents in front of the
appliance and place the open end inside the vacuum
chamber (9.). (fig. A)
3d Close the lid (5.).
3e Press and hold down the ON button (1.) to com-
plete the packing cycle (fig. B). Wait until the seal
light goes on and off (3.).
3f Lift the lid (5.) and remove the bag.
3g Check the quality of the seal obtained, which
should appear as a regular, wrinkle-free crosswise
strip with the internal ridges of the bag flattened.

3h You can turn the unit off at any time by releasing
the ON button (1.).
4. Vacuum packing by using the bag cut from the roll
(20 cm): Unroll and cut a bag of suitable length for
packaging the food to be preserved; then seal one of
the open ends of the bag by carrying out the following
steps:
4a Lift the lid (5.) and turn it in the open position until
you hear a slight click.
4b Position either of the two open ends of the bag
on the sealing bar (10.). with the smooth side up.
(fig. D) Warning: be careful not to let the bag
hang over into the vacuum chamber (9.) or on the
sealing ga ket (8.).
4c Close the lid (5.).
4d Press and hold down the ON button (1.) to carry
out sealing. Wait until the seal light goes on and
off (3.).
4e Lift the lid (5.) and remove the bag.
4f Check that sealing is complete. Go back to step 3b
above and repeat all the operations up to step 3g.
Vacuum packing in pre-cut bags or rolls having a width
(30 cm)
5. Vacuum packing by using pre-cut bags (30 cm):
5a Lift the lid (5.) and put food into the bag.
5b Position the open end on the sealing bar (10.)
(fig. E) and seal only one portion of the bag open
end by pressing and holding down the ON button
(1.) and wait until the seal light goes off (3.).
5c With a pair of scissors transversally cut the bag
corner which was not sealed (fig. F).
5d Place the bag open end inside the vacuum chamber
(fig. G).
5e Carry out the packing cycle as per step 3e.
5f Check that the seal overlaps the previous one to
form a “X” (fig. H) and it is complete.
6. Vacuum packing by using the bag cut from the roll
(30 cm): Unroll and cut a bag of suitable length for
packaging the food to be preserved; then seal one of
the open ends of the bag by carrying out the following
steps:
6a Lift the lid (5.).
6b Position either of the two open ends of the bag on
the sealing bar (10.) (fig. E) and seal only one por-
tion of the bag open end by pressing and holding
down the ON button (1.) and wait until the seal
light goes off (3.). Check the seal.
6c By a pair of scissors cut transversally the bag
corner which is not sealed (fig. F).
6d Now seal the bag remaining portion (fig. I) and
repeat the same operations as per step 6b
6e Check that the seal overlaps the previous one to
form a “X” (fig. H) and it is complete.
6f Return to step 5a and repeat the operations up to
step 5f.
