34. Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance. Only touch the

outside of the toaster.

35. Only use the toaster if it has been properly assembled, mea-

ning the bread crumb tray is inserted.

36. Regularly empty the bread crumb tray. Large amounts of bread

crumbs should not be allowed to accumulate in the appliance

bottom – risk of ﬁre!

37. Never leave the toaster while the appliance is in use.

38. Always keep the appliance and the accessories clean. Please

refer to the notes given in the manual.

39. Never clean the toaster with metal sponges. The metal parti-

cles in the sponge could come loose and touch the electrical

components in the appliance, causing electric shock.

40. Do not place any objects on the appliance.

41. Always unwind the power cord fully before plugging the plug

into the socket.

42. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully

switched off.

43. Warning: Only use the appliance when it is standing upright.

The toaster must not be placed on its side! Never place ﬁlled

or covered toasts resp. slices of bread in the toaster, this can

cause electric shock resp. ﬁre.

44. This toaster is only suitable for toasting bread, crumpets, ba-

gels or mufﬁns. Should you toast any other foods in this toa-

ster, it could cause electric shock resp. ﬁre.

45. Never try to remove slices of bread potentially stuck in the

appliance with metal instruments. To do that, use a plastic or

wooden instrument. In this event, the appliance must never

be warm or connected to the power.
