H. Guarantee
Leifheit AG grants you 5 years guarantee as of the date of
purchase (or for order upon receipt of the goods) for the
quality product at hand. The guarantee claims must be
asserted immediately upon occurrence of the defect
within the guarantee period.The guarantee is limited to
the quality of the products.
The following are excluded from the guarantee:
(1) wear caused by proper use or natural causes;
(2) damage caused by improper use or handling (e.g.
impact, bump, fall);
(3) damage caused by non-compliance with stated opera-
ting instructions;
(4) the rechargeable battery
In case of a guarantee claim, Leifheit will at its own dis-
cretion provide either repair of defective parts or replace
the product. If a repair is not possible and if an identical
product is no longer available within the product range for
replacement, you will receive a replacement product that
is, insofar as possible, of equal value. In case of a gua-
rantee claim, the purchase price cannot be reimbursed.
This guarantee also does not grant compensation rights.
This guarantee furthermore does not grant any claims for
damages.
To assert the guarantee, please contact the seller where
you purchased the product and present the defective pro-
duct, the purchase receipt (copy) and the guarantee slip.
The guarantee is valid globally.
Your statutory rights, in particular warranty rights, conti-
nue to be valid and are not limited by this warranty.

This product is not to be treated as regular
household waste but must be returned to a coll-
ection point for recycling electric and electronic

B. Préparation
1. Poser la balance sur une surface plane et stable (pas
sur de la moquette) avant chaque mesure.
Prévoir un éclairage suffisant. Ne pas couvrir les
capteurs solaires.
2. Possibilité de commuter l‘affichage dans les unités du
pays, de kg/cm en lb/in ou st/in, à l’aide du bouton
situé à l’arrière de la balance.
Attention ! Risque de glissade en
cas de surface humide.
C. Saisie des données
Remarque : poser l‘impédancemètre sur un sol plan
avant de démarrer la saisie de données. Si ce point n‘est
pas observé, il est possible que le poids de la balance
soit pris en compte par erreur lors de la première pesée.
La même chose peut arriver en fonctionnement normal si
la balance est prise dans les mains avant la pesée.
1. Démarrer la saisie des données (appuyer une seconde
sur la touche
).
2. Sélectionner un emplacement mémoire (P1... P8)
ź= moins, Ÿ= plus) puis valider ( ).
3. Sélectionner la taille et l’âge (ź = moins, Ÿ = plus)
et valider (
).
4. Sélectionner le sexe à l‘aide de źŸ (
= masculin,
= féminin) puis valider (
).
5. Le numéro de l’emplacement mémoire s’affiche.
Appuyer sur la touche

0.0 apparaisse à l‘affichage.
6. Ensuite, monter sur la balance, pieds nus, pour ef-
fectuer la première analyse corporelle. Si l‘utilisateur
monte sur la balance en chaussures ou en chausset-
tes, seul le poids corporel s‘affiche.
La première mesure est indispensable pour
l‘enregistrement des données et pour la reconnais-
sance automatique de chaque personne par la suite. Si
personne ne monte sur la balance, les données devront
être ressaisies.
La balance dispose d’un mode Extinction automatique.
Si aucune touche n’est actionnée pendant 40 secondes,
elle s’éteint.
D. Analyse corporelle
1. Monter pieds nus sur la balance et rester immobile
pendant environ 5 s.
2. Les personnes sont reconnues automatiquement. Sé-
lectionner l’emplacement mémoire individuel źŸ)
si la personne n’est pas reconnue automatiquement.
3. Le poids, les taux de graisse et d’eau corporelles ainsi
que l‘emplacement mémoire individuel s‘affichent.
Remarque : les taux de graisse et d‘eau corporelles
sont calculés à partir du poids déterminé et des
données personnelles.
