Call Waiting
Ga naar [Setup] → [Advanced] → [Audio]. Hier bij 'Call Waiting Indication' :
• Kies 'Off' als je Call Waiting uit wilt zetten.
• Kies 'Visual only' als je geen aankloptoon wilt horen maar de inkomende call alleen
op het scherm wilt zien.
• Kies 'Ringer only' als je alleen aankloptoon wilt horen.
Klik op 'Apply' en dan bovenin op 'Save'
2 Belangerijke Functies voor de Administrator
Het toestel heeft een aantal erg handige functies voor troubleshooting. Het toestel logt
zijn SIP trace, maakt gebruik van down-/uploadbare configuratie bestanden van
verschillend formaten, logt alles wat het doet, etc.. Ze kunnen gevonden worden onder
het kopje [Status]

Log
Onder [Status] → [Log] houdt het toestel een log bij van alles wat het heeft gedaan.

SIP trace
Onder [Status] → [SIP Trace] houdt het toestel een SIP trace bij. Deze is ook te
downloaden als .pcap bestand zoals hierna uitgelegd.

PCAP Trace
Het toestel stelt de gebruiker ook in staat om een PCAP trace dump te maken en opslaan.
Ga naar [Status] → [PCAP Trace]. Een dump kan gemaakt worden door op [Start] te
drukken en na een interval op [Stop] te drukken. Door op [here] te klikken kan de trace
gedownload worden voor analyse in bijvoorbeeld Wireshark.

Firmware upgrade
Ga naar http://www.wiki.snom.com/firmware/v8 in je browser en navigeer naar 'snom821
Update Guide'. Klik hier op de nieuwste firmware versie. En volg dan de instructies op die
pagina.
